If drinking is so bad then why dont they ban the commercials like cigarettes also isnt it true that more people are killed by cigarette smoke then alchol would like to know im not sure but i know there are stiffer fines and the embarassment for drinking and driving also if the goverment is so worried about drunk driving then why dont they manditory a breathalizer to be put in every vehical like they do for emissions just think that if the goverment wanted to still get their tax dollars from beer wine and spirits then this would be a better way then to ruin someones life would stop all the drunk driving and why dont they focus more on cigarette smoke and polution

In UK law one who is banned from driving can still drive abroad...but at the court case the judge takes the defendant's driving license, so how could you hire a car while abroad as a license is required to hire?

An Ohio legislative panel yesterday rubber-stamped an unprecedented process that would allow sex offenders to be publicly identified and tracked even if they've never been charged with a crime.

QUESTION: DO YOU AGREE THAT OHIO NOW DECLAIR ANYONE AND PLACE THEM ON THE SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY WITHOUT DUE PROCESS, TRIAL, OR LAWSUIT, BUT ON THE WORD OF ANOTHER WITHOUT PROOF?

While out on short-term disability, I was notified by several co-workers that a damaging email was sent throughout the office, regarding me & five other empolyees, stating that we were the most worthless, useless and valueless employees on the payroll.
I have contacted the company & filed a complaint, but have not heard anything back. I have the email and everytime I read it, it make my stomach sick. What should I do? Is this character defamation? Is this grounds for a potential lawsuit? Is there a difference between slander in the workplace & defamation of character?

I dated this person for over a year. We have broke up several times because she goes physco when she does not have her medicine. She has recently started using illegal drugs. Over a month after we split up and I was involved with someone else she filed a report of felonious restraint, sexual assault, 1st degree bugulry, adn 2 3rd degree assaults. They automatically issued a warrant for me and a $1,000.00 bond. I am innocent but it seems like they are believing her over me with no evidence. All I want to do is get on with my life. PLease help!!!!!

It was only an afterthought that the basic freedoms we call the Bill of Rights were added as the first 10 amendments and even then only the more privileged ever got them. And who wrote the Bill of Rights; the backbone of our Constitution? None other than Thomas Paine who gave us Common Sense, published January 10, 1776.

I was thinking about a law legalizing marijuana, the law would consist of three licenses a growers, dealers, and possessors. Each would entail a fee along with mandatory drug awareness courses. The growers license would only be available to individual farmers preferably those would are receiving heavy subsidies from the federal government, and those who do not have a criminal record concerning other substances, tax evasion, or violent crime. Presumably this would take money from the underground economy as well as adding to the coffers of both the state and federal government.

I do have a "baby brother", who lives back home overseas, and is currently sick. When the women called with an urgency for my PS2 set I was selling on a local classifieds,(supposely for her brother), I went thru thin and thick ( you wouldn't even believe if I told you everything), to meet her needs. Day later she put stop on a check she gave me.I do believe in God and Law. The check has her name and address ( the bank that issued check is a local), and she answers her phone (but hangs up on my voice). My bank told me to go to police... but what would they do? I am not as much after her money ($80+ banking fee for returned check), but I would like to show her the feeling of being played. I live in GA, not sure could she go in jail if I file with a police. Any advices or what would you do? Should I let her pay for her part or live by :"What goes around, comes around" and learn from my mistake? The hands of God or hands of Law- (she had expansive car, so she needed no charity).
