In UK law one who is banned from driving can still drive abroad...but at the court case the judge takes the defendant's driving license, so how could you hire a car while abroad as a license is required to hire?

There are a couple of interesting options here. The first is that she might have had a duplicate license. The second is that the rental company was so dazzled by her 'fame' that they didn't bother to ask for a license and just assumed she had a valid one - and that does happen! And the third is that someone else hired the car for her and she simply drove it.
None of which really matters because Caprice, herself, knew she was not entitled to drive, so regardless of what legal or civil charges may be lodged, there is the more important moral standard to question.

She hired a car in Ibiza but as she is an American citizen she also has an American licence. A UK judge does not have the power to ban anyone from driving in another country so her ban only applies in the UK.

This was posted 7 years ago so your about 21-22 now. The laws have obviously changed since then and I'm turning 15 in a few months and a few of my friends have jobs but I don't know how I go about getting a job today. I would really appreciate if someone could give an up to date list of jobs and how to get a job create a CV etc. Thanks in advance to anyone whose kind enough to help :)

This is because you do not have to surrender your licence when you are banned, it simply says banned on it.

Also driving bans only apply in the UK and not in other countries, therefore you can use your licence anywhere you want regardless of how many points you have.
