Since you criminal apologists and amnesty supporters don't seem to mind the huge cost that illegal immigration places on our communities, surely you will be fair and compensate the rest of us by paying a higher share of your earnings in taxes, right?

Oh, did you think that health care is free? You think health care would be free even with the communist Hillary plan? Ignoramouses.

Do you think illegal immigrants pay enough in taxes to make up for their cost burden? PLEEEEEEEAAASSEEEE!!!

So when your property taxes are due, and you file your 1040, make sure to include a couple of extra thousand dollars in generosity for your love of law breakers and thieves.

Illegal aliens are said to be doing only jobs American won't do. Is there some service that shows me the jobs currently being done by illegal aliens inside the US so I can see if I may want to claim one of these positions? I have to imagine there is at least one factory/general labor or office position being done by an illegal immigrant that I would probably be willing to do. Is there any way to check on such positions?

go from jobs they WERE doing only to be replaced by illegal aliens by companies profiting on them as a source of cheaper labor (lower wages, no benefits, being paid under the table, etc.)?

Please don't give me the arguement that Americans are lazy because economic studies continue to show Americans work more/harder and produce more per hour than any other nation.

"New figures fuel fears over 'white immigration' into Britain
London, Aug 23: Fears and anxieties over the influx of 'white immigrants' into Britain have been fuelled by official figures that at least 427,000 east European migrants arrived in Britain during the last two years.

The figures are way beyond those projected by the British government when new members joined the European Union in 2004. The government's original estimate was that the annual intake of legal migrant workers from the mostly former communist states would be 5,000 to 13,000.

After the new figures were released the prospect of Bulgaria and Romania joining the EU next year is seen with increasing trepidation. The ongoing public debate on the issue is similar to the one when Asians and Afro-Caribbeans migrated to Britain decades ago."

There seems, at least to me, that there is sometimes lack of humanity when addressing the illegal immigration question. They are treated in some posts like cockroaches that should be exterminated. I’m certainly not talking about everyone nor am I saying that if you think there should be strict enforcement that you are some how inhumane. I’m just asking that we remember that that we are discussing the future of millions of human beings and we should be pushing our leaders for an effective yet compassionate solution. Anyway, that’s my two cents. Feel free to disagree.

Democrats firmly control the California legislature and are used to putting through any law they want. They could have done it this time, but apparently weren't prepared to have the Republicans shine a light on what they were doing, and in an election year.

What do you think?

"The rancorous national debate over illegal immigration spilled into the California Assembly on Tuesday as Democrats yanked an immigration resolution after a testy, partisan exchange that drew an outburst from Speaker Fabian Nuñez.

The Los Angeles Democrat emerged from his office to silence Republican critics who were lambasting the non-binding resolution.

``We're pulling the bill. You've got a problem with that?'' he asked before uttering an expletive about Republican nitpicking and leaving the chamber, slamming the door that joins the Assembly to his conference room.

from the 'crack down' trend.

They are also getting the Border Patrol head that Arizona kicked out for not communicating to allow enforcement more, and I wonder if that is calculated. Does anyone from Texas know what is going on there? Did it pass?

One version of the sanctuary law first calendared for the end of July was pulled to be reworded, but it is coming back. http://www.co.el-paso.tx.us/commcourt/meetings/2006-07-31/agenda.htm

Considering they had a 70 % drop in crime during a recent border security crack down, how do they consider that in the best interest of their citizens?

If the US took over your home country, made the economy and living situations and everything as good as it as it is here in the US, would you go back? Or would you still want to stay in the US, cause the US is a great place to be?

President Bush’s failure to halt the invasion and secure America’s border, is a dereliction of constitutional duty that in other times, would have called forth articles of impeachment.

Slowly but surely, the great American Southwest is being reconquered by Mexico. These lands—which many Mexicans believe are their birthright—are being detached ethnically, linguistically, and culturally from the United States and over-run by Ilegal Aliens hemorraging across our Southern Border by the tens of thousands!

Why Won't The Senate perform the Will of the People Why won't Bush act?

I am hard core anti illegal-anti amnesty, always have been. I believe it's a current threat to our country and our future as well to allow them to stay. Can you offer anything that might change my mind? Are you up to the challenge of changeing my mind? Help me see things your way, currently I do not understand why anyone would support this illegal movement.

And/or Amensty make sense? It doesn't make sense to me at all. I and others have asked pro's many times to present facts supporting their cause and they've failed to present any. On the other hand, anti illegals have presented plenty of facts over the past few months, enough to persuade any logical thinking persons mind. It's an easy question. How does it make SENSE to support the illegal immigrant movement, or Amnesty? I am not asking you to show facts this time, I'm just interested in the logical sense in your support.

Do you know of someone who routinely employs illegal aliens in his or her business?

Have you been laid off, only to see your job be given to an illegal alien?

Have you lost your business or a contract to someone who was able to underbid you because he or she employs illegal aliens?

Do you work in a company that has recently adopted a policy of hiring illegals, or of refusing to use due diligence in checking identification before hiring?

Employing illegal aliens is a federal crime and we'd like to know about it so we can forward such information to the authorities. If you have knowledge of employers in your state breaking the law, please contact the following sites:
