I lived in london and am married to a british guy for almost 3 yrs. We have been separated now for a while and since then i came to canada since i'm a canadian citizen. how do i plan to get my british citizen in this case?..i dont think that he will be much help to me and i want to reside in the uk permanently cuz i grew to love it there. Any ideas?

Contact the British embassy and ask about citizenship, they will inform you of the requirements you must meet to become a UK citizen

You can still get permanent residency if you haven't been out for too long. There's a limit ... something like not more than 3 months per year or something like that.

It used to be great in the UK but now you have to speak foreign to get anywhere stay in Canada its better

Why anybody would want to stay in the UK is beyond me. Think yourself lucky and stay away.
