I think most people migrate to USA because it is the most developed technologically, it is the place where talent is recognised and gives a better life to its citizens.
Though discrimination is there as in any other country, it is better than many other countries. Talented people, hard working people can shine in their fields.
Talent and hard working are appreciated in USA
And most importantly USA is a nation of immigrants. The only natives of USA are native american indians. The rest all are immigrants.

USA is one of the countries with bigger amount of inmigrants. Many reasons for this.
People thinks of that country as one where you can get better life oportunity and work to send money to their family in their original country.
3rd world countries, are below USA, meaning that food, gas, and all the basics, are way more expensive in a 3rd world country than they are at USA

Becaue it is with out a doubt, the best country in the world and it offers its LEGAL citizens more freedoms and rights than any other country in the world.
Illegal aliens come here to STEAL, and that is exactly what they do.

Because US makes it seem you can do anything or be anyone here, it just takes a little hard work. So, people think, "Hey, I work hard, I can be something in the US." But, then they get here and see how things really are.
Just a note for everyone: Asker didn't say anything about illegal immigrants.

Corruption on all levels exists in most of their countries. Those same institutions in the US are void of such corruption. That allows common people with no leg to stand on at least the chance to display their talents and mettle.

For freedom. We are the strongest country and they think we can do basically what we want according to our law. Freedom of speec, religion , etc... Many middle eastern countries have such strict rules and policies they have to follow or else their family will be shunned or punished.
