Illegal aliens are said to be doing only jobs American won't do. Is there some service that shows me the jobs currently being done by illegal aliens inside the US so I can see if I may want to claim one of these positions? I have to imagine there is at least one factory/general labor or office position being done by an illegal immigrant that I would probably be willing to do. Is there any way to check on such positions?

Ridgely- yes I worked for 4 years in a factory making $5.25-$6.50/hr and worked @ 60 hours a week many years ago and that was AFTER finishing college with a degree and high gpa; the company was an un-unionized shop doing printing work for the Big 3 here near Detroit and moved South for cheaper labor (want to guess why?) a couple years after I left the company in pursuit of a better job. I admit, I dislike restaurant work, but I would gladly go back to a similar crappy low-paying factory position to support myself if need be.

Tregan- lo siento, mi habla muy poco Espanol.

Yes. A large number of contractors use them. I know this because I used to lose bids to them, because I could not compete with their prices, since they didnt' pay workers comp, taxes, and other expenses that I had to pay.

Just be willing to work for 1/3 of what the job is worth, and realize there is no safety net for you if you are injured.

I don't know of any lists, but just take your camera to the small factories around your area and take some pictures. The help wanted signs will come out!

You may be willing to do the job, but keep in mind the employer would have to be willing to hire you to do it.

Go to the kitchen of your nearest restaurant.

Don't just look - hang around for a full 12-hour shift and ask yourself "Would I be willing to do this job at this wage?"

Well, would you, punk?
