I am mexican, with european roots, so i don't look that mexican, but i do have a mexican passport. What I hate is that if i have NEVER tried to work ilegally in the US (I wouldn't even want to) everytime I want to go shopping to New York, get a tan in Miami or party in Vegas the immigration authotiries in the airport treat me as if I am some kind of terrorist, drug dealer or I'm planning to work in the US. That treatment to me is not fair since I work in Mexico and I'm going to the US to spend all the money I made in MY country in Your products and YOUR night clubs, i don't care cuz i like the products and love the clubs. But do you think that's fair? Wouldn't you feel that way if mexican authorities treated you like that when you go for a fun vacay in Can Cun??

If a muslim british citizen has a caution for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and one speeding conviction, how easy will it be for that person to visit the USA for holiday.

This person got the conviction because he grabbed a baseball bat to chase away a gang of lads who had commenced a racially motivated attack on on one of his neighbours. He basically was trying to save someone's life in response to cry for help from the mother of a boy who was being beaten up by youths. But by the time he got to the scene the bad lads had escaped and the police caught him at the scene with a bat -hence the caution.

He is otherwise a law abiding citizen who enjoys the Great Outdoors and wants to visit USA for leisure.

But I hear the Americans have recently become DRACONIAN about allowing anyone to enter the States with any tarnish against their records. Is this true?

He has a record for trying to save a life. Will authorities consider situation behind his caution?

Shouldn't they be more concerned over terrorists crossing the border and why this situation has not been rectified almost 5 years after 911?

I have recently heard some disturbing news that LA Raza and Mencha (Sp) want to forcibly take back the states they believe belong to Mexico. And that they are telling illegals not to assimilate. Is this true?

Hasn't the government realized that a fence would cost 2.2 billion dollars, that means $3 million per mile. A fence will be destroyed in a few months, believe you me. Why not investing those 2.2 millions in companies that will open in mexico and employ mexicans in their own country so they will grow and develop as a country inside their own country. By doing that the american government would be investing in a country that has all the resources needed to be a 1st world country, at the same time, there would be a serious decrease in immigration and it would be a benefit for both countries. Mexico would fight poverty (apparently its biggest problem) and USA would fight immigrants (apparently its biggest problem).

That law'sare made to be followed.with the provision that laws are faulty and they were made by humans and they are not always upheld by the lawmakers. That for every bad reason for not following the law there is a good reason for not following a particular law.

I remember when this happened it made national news like once or twice and then nothing, my question is why hasn't OUR elected officials (supposed leaders) done anything about this, why haven't they demanded answers from the corrupt mexican government??? This whole incident seems to have been swept under the rug...does anyone have the follow up story on this?? And what do you think these men were up to?? I'm thinking drug related, but who knows......maybe something more sinister??

After reading many post's in here you'd think every American won the lotto and mainly we all sit at home while illegals do every job there is. First it was Jobs Americans want do. Now we see illegals doing jobs, Americans do, like building homes sure haven't seen the price of homes go down, jobs shipped to Mexico hasn't stopped the flow or kept prices that low. It seems all the illegals want to do is shove out every American turn American into another Mexico after trashing it move on to the next country. Why is America's job to take care of Mexico's problems. Who was doing all these jobs before these illegals showed up. What happen to the major index of illegals in 1986 are they now too lazy to? Are the illegals simply brain washed in thinking the country will go under without them? It seems they are all takers and not givers and only want to gloss over how it's impossible for any American to load up the dish washer, cut grass, carry out garabge.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FIX YOUR OWN COUNTRY

In the government-funded charter school La Academia Semillas del Pueblo, the Los Angeles public school teaches "Aztec math" (ancient dot math is the new math)

That's the tip of the iceberg:
Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz. According to The Race, the school's success rests on "Aztlan's ability to integrate a meaningful Chicano Studies program into their lives, language and academics, as a means of developing their intellects as well as their pride and self-esteem." The school's name – a reference to a mythical swath of the vast Southwestern U.S. expanse, which Latino activists claim is their rightful homeland and which they seek to reconquer for Mexico – says it all.

I received a request from "Minuteman PAC" for a donation to help protect our southern border. Is this a ligitimate request or one of those where the collector keeps most of the money and sends a dribble, if any, on tho the Minutemen? Does anyone know where to donate to do the most to help the Minutemen?

What I enjoy the most is while liberals coddle these racists, the racist themselves hate those liberal white self-haters.

The Race snapped up $15.2 million in federal grants last year alone and more than $30 million since 1996. Undisclosed amounts went to get-out-the-vote efforts supporting La Raza political positions. The U.S. Department of Education funneled nearly $8 million in taxpayer grants to the group for a nationwide charter-schools initiative.

Among The Race's most infamous government-funded charter schools is La Academia Semillas del Pueblo, the Los Angeles public school that teaches "Aztec math" (ancient dot math is the new math) and the Mexican indigenous language of "Nahuatl." The ethnic separatist principal of the school, Marcos Aguilar, told a sympathetic UCLA interviewer:

We don't want to drink from a white water fountain; we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don't need a white water fountain.

They are ILLEGAL!!!!
Which means not legal. Against the law.
And don't say for the vote or for political correctness.
COULDN'T THIS BE A HAZARD???
With all we are doing to weed out terrorists, this is a surefire way for them to get into the country, is it not?
And why would we let in a bunch of freeloaders?
AND HOW CAN WE GIVE THEM WELFARE???
So now the taxpayers of america are supporting law-breakers who don't pay taxes, but still leech off of our welfare system (which needs some fixing anyway).
WHY DO WE DO THIS CRAP???

What could happen to them if someone denounces them to the immigration department? This family is here working as temporary residents, hoping to apply for a green card sometime in the future. I think is infuriating that some people move to the US even expecting to become residents and they start out by breaking the US laws with the excuse that "back home we had servants". Shameless arrogance!
