I remember when this happened it made national news like once or twice and then nothing, my question is why hasn't OUR elected officials (supposed leaders) done anything about this, why haven't they demanded answers from the corrupt mexican government??? This whole incident seems to have been swept under the rug...does anyone have the follow up story on this?? And what do you think these men were up to?? I'm thinking drug related, but who knows......maybe something more sinister??

This is such bull ****, if they were needing to cross into America, chasing drug runners a simple radio dispatch, and a telephone call would have informed local law enforcment, and I'm sure no onewould look at it as a violation.
If this was some form of recon by the Mexican military, then bells should be going off, what are they planning ? Why are the sneaking around on U.S. soil ? Why are the armed ?

There actually have been many incursions. It's not big news anymore. That's why our entertainment-mentality media provides mostly sound-bites.
They are probably either drug runners disguised as Mexican military or bribed Mexican military providing security for drug cartels. In this case, they burned an SUV full of pot after it became stuck in the river. The SUV was stolen out of El Paso.
As for the SPP, it has nothing to do with drugs. Were demand eliminated in the US, the drug runners would be out of business wouldn't they? Hmmm? That makes sense.
The SPP will actually keep more people in Mexico. Quit tryin to scare people.

In military and government dealings there are hundreds of things that happen daily, various operations, incursions into outher countries ect, that you never know about. As the incident in question seems to not be harming anyone here and no u.s. lands were taken and occupire by a beligerant force, there is no real action needed other than some diplomatic goings on. When I was in Germany at the end of the cold war, Russian military was always somewhere close to our base checking it out, and we always had military incursions in east germany looking at their force strengths. so, I ask you, what exactly do you want to be done about this incident which I assure you is nothing new.

Lou Dobbs has been reporting about this for years.Not only have they crossed our borders,they have shot at our border patrol and police.This has been documented several times.Not only do they shoot at our civil servants,they don't participate in the war on drugs and most important the war on terror.They don't have any troops in Afganistan or Iraq.Mexico does not help us at all.The best thing they could do for us is tell their people to come back home.The U.S. had a bounty of 20 million or so on Saddams sons and over 20 million for Saddam.I think we could spend that money better.If we gave all the elegal aliens a million bucks each,and told them to go back home(with the million)and fix their country.There is supposedely 15-30 million elegal aliens in the U.S.We could solve this whole problem for about lets say 50 million.For what we paid for Saddam and sons.
Rite now this elegal alien thing is costing us billions each year.For about 50 million rite now problem solved.If our government gives them amnesty it will cost way more.

What indeed happened? NOTHING happened, at least nothing that I've heard of .... instead we're supposed to be up in arms talking about retaliating against poor deluded North Korea, who have NOTHING except some malfunctioning missiles ... but when our borders have been violated by Mexico ... then NOTHING! And we're supposed to believe that there are not a bunch of traitors in Washington????

Wow! i just read your link , and frankly i don't know what to think of it. I haven't heard ANYTHING out of my local fox affiliate on the news, very strange of them to be sneaking around and hiding in the brush though. I don't believe they were investigating anything, but i wonder if it has something to do with us ammassing some of OUR troops at the border?
