I think the catapult is a great idea!! Let's brainstorm and see if we could find a way to pull that off.. LOL Maybe we could fit more than one Mexican in it and make it a better deal for us. Cheaper than a fence.

Why is Mexico considered the poorest in the world? Illegals come here to ship the $$ back to Mexico which keeps Mexico afloat. It's time we really enforce our laws and have people come here the proper way instead disregarding every law we have to enter here the wrong way deserve to be sent back .Although some illegal aliens enter this country for a better life, there are six billion people on this planet. At least one billion of those live on less than one dollar a day. If wanting a better life is a valid excuse to break the law and sneak into America, then let's allow those one billion to come to America and we'll turn the USA into a Third World nation overnight. Besides, there are 280 million native born Americans who want a better life. Since when is wanting a better life a good reason to trash another nation?

That is wrong on many levels. Lets say that you moved to France to take a job that pays three times as much that you were making in the US. Would you stop loving the US. Do you think that the French might say the same. Lets be real here. The Central AMERICANS that come to this country aren't the computer engineers, doctors, and civil servants. They are farm workers, factory workers, and laborers. These people come from the poorest segments of their countries. Our mentality of pulling your self up by the boot straps doesn't apply to everyone everywhere. Maybe it is time to put yourself in there shoes. What would you do if you made nothing. Would you not search out the better life

Well, the truth of the matter is that in Mexico, things cost about the same as they do here, even with the exchange rate. The problem is that they get paid approx a third of what we get paid in America. This is why they come to work in America and send all our money back to Mexico. In a way, it's ruining our economy. But, a catapult? If you could find one big enough to put them ALL in, I'd be there to watch. But they are like cockroaches, no matter how hard you try to keep them away, they always keep coming RIGHT back. Da.mn!

First of all that was just wrong to start off with even if it gets attention. But I don't think it's anything wrong with trying to find a better life for your family. If the U.S. laws were better thought out these people wouldn't have to be illegals.

Most of the illegals don't want to go back either. They want to stay here and have better lives. Id on't see anthing wrong with them sending money back to their families who are still suffering and can't get here themselves. It's a sad thing when a mother has to leave her children behind just to put food on the table or when a father has seen his kids in years because he has become a legal citizens but laws prohibit his family from joing him. It's sad when a child grows up without a perent because the only way they can provide for them is to be away from them.

They may be treated like crap here but they are treated worse in their own country. Plus they aren't making Mexico better but making the lives of their family actually be a life and not a living hell.

Think about it. If your children had to drink dirty water wear rags, and live in obscene conditions. What would you do through to make their lives better.

I think that is a horrible thing to say about anybody. You should be ashamed of yourself. The Mexican people come here to make money so they can send it back to their families. Don't you realize how poor the country of Mexico is? Why don't you check it out. Do you have a job? If you don't maybe you should get one. If you are old enough to work, that is.

the majority of Mexican would love to do that but you can't with a corrupt government only the rich people live good in Mexico people who are poor have to work their asses off 8 to 10 hours a day to make about 50 to 80 dollars a week here they make about 150 to 300 dollars a week depends what they do...if there wasn't so much corruption and crime in Mexico I can guarantee that the majority of people would go back....

Unless you're an American Indian, how would you feel if someone suggested we do the same to you?

Do you actually think people want to leave their home and their loved ones to come to a foreign country and live among people who think of them as you do? Of course not. They're here for all of the same reasons all refugees come, to build a better life for themselves and their children.

Considering the fact that we Caucasians are going to be a minority in this country in the foreseeable future, I suggest you might want to re-look your position!

the catapult would only be a good idea if we built a 20 ft. tall electric fence with auto-turrets to prevent them from buildining their own catapult and flinging themselves back over.
*Just in case anybody wants to call me a racist or something, I would like to point out that I have nothing against Mexicans, or any other immigrants, as long as they do not come in illegally and/or import drugs/weapons/etc.

You really have no idea what u r talking about. Mexicans don't go to the US because they love it. they go cuz they have no choice. And to make Mexico a better country, the US shouldn't exist. Do you ever read the newspapers?? Don't you understand that this situation is convenient for US???
