Employer crackdowns, neighborhood sweeps for illegals, border fence, citizens/neighborhood watch, hotlines, more police, public awareness, what's the right way to handle this problem?

I ask because it's hard to be hateful towards groups of people you know an individual of.

Now mind you, I realize our current situation vis a vis illegal immigrants from Latin America can't go on forever; our infrastructure and economy can't support all the poor of that region.

Still, it's no solution for Americans to say, "This is our country, go starve in yours." Any American with kids knows that if the tables were turned, we, too, would come here, illegally, if necessary, if that's what our kids needed. If we start at that point of common humanity and humility, we're on track to a workable solution. Clearly, they can't all come. Clearly, it's our right to make the rules, and to expect courtesy from those who do emigrate.

But we also need to assist Latin societies in developing the infrastructure that could allow a middle class to form there. Over a generation, that could happen, and when it does, our problem will fade. But we have to want to do the work.

I want a divorce from my husband of one year who is currently incarcerated for assaulting me. We're both immigrants; he's a permanent resident, I am not. He never filed an application for me to become a legal resident. Should I do that before I begin divorce procedings or after? (form I-360 petition for special immigrant)

First of all I just wanna clarify not all Puerto Ricans live off the Government but there's a growing amount of them applying to Welfare and Food stamps, I just don't like the fact that my taxes go to some drug selling crook who doesn't want to work & also I've noticed illegals work harder than those lucky enough that come from an island with U.S. citizenship.

Are they irrational, are they knowingly aiding and abetting, what, if any, legal penalties should be levied against those that actively aid and promote illegal aliens entering our country?

government ACCOUNTABLE,for all the tax dollars that have been WASTED over the years, that SHOULD HAVE been used to secure our borders???? We should have had a border fence YEARS ago!!! Back in 1986 when Reagan granted amnesty to the 1-3 million illegals,we were ALSO told that our borders would be secured!!! That's been TWENTY years ago!!! WHY has NOTHING been done, and NOW we have 11-30 MILLION to deal with??!!

one of the main teachings of the minute klan is that AZTLAN is the so called territory which montezuma always wanted . but so far i know that montezuma never possesed this teritory and that the aztecs considered the same as worthless just like all other major cultures , they considered it worthless because it was mostly a inhabitable ( there was not way to develop any culture in there ).

so would anyone plz explain how is this logic to the minute man ???

i would like to add that as a mexican i had never heard such "plan" and that i'm sure that if there was any , it was loss because of the lack of interest Mexicans have for anything concerning America . as a child i saw how all who came back to Mexico from America never spoke about America neither they were asked about it .
..... so does AZTLAN makes any logic to u ???
..... do u really belive Mexico which depeds so much from America would want the destruction of the same as a country ???
