Some say the press is all liberal etc. Do you agree, have they given fair coverage of illegal immigration and other issues in america, or have they tried to substitute their bias for actual public opinion? What's YOUR opinion on illegal immigration, if you'd care to share it?

Oh they are definitely trying to hide the immigration issues.... and if they are talking about it they have some supposed professional saying that it would hurt the economy if we deported all of the illegals and all of the other fairy tales that is spewed about this topic (you know the usual excuses).
Click on the link, after this was initially reported nothing else was said about it, my question was why not?? The liberal media has their own agendas and they decide what they report to us.
And my opinion on Illegal immigration is deport them all, enough is enough...........there are immigration laws and policies for a reason, economically, socially and ecologically we cannot support everyone. SS if that sounds harsh, but it is the truth.

MOST of the press,ARE all liberal!!!
The ONLY channel that i've seen so far, that gives good coverage of this situation, is Fox news!!! They are the only ones,i have ever heard, tell about the THOUSANDS of ILLEGALS,just "lined up" to cross the border!! And this is a DAILY thing!!!

ONE example of their BIAS,was during the ILLEGALS' marches!!! MOST of the channels, showed very FEW (if ANY) mexican flags being flown!!! On FOX news,it showed DOZENS of them!!!! The other channels did NOT show the old lady (ANTI-illegal protester) getting hit in the head by an ILLEGAL!!! They did NOT show all the RACIST signs the illegals carried, either!!!

I don't think they have tried to hide it, they don't report on it very often, because they are afraid of the back lash from the latino activists. I don't know what has happened to freedom of speech in this country.
Although I am completely for legal immigration. Illegal immigration has left a sour taste in my mouth, especially after the boycott.

Yes the media has been brought and paid for by favors for a long time.
In Chicago -they pushed their poor away from protesters for Amnesty. The media refused the Chicago poor coverage and would only show the starve strike for Amnesty. Our Vets were there too and ask to speak-the media would not let them. And that media was most of are local news-CBS NBS_WGN_ABC WCIU WLS WMAQ and others. I was staying downtown at the time.

Close the Borders to start.

I watched an excellent show on immigrants and border patrol on the fourth of July. It explained the terrorists that tried coming over with the mexican immigrants, so no I don't think they are hiding anything.

I believe they DID try to hide it. In AZ every single day there is a story on the news about new arrests of illegals.

The media as a whole is biased, big time. I never knew that until I came here to Iraq. Seen this myself, no one can convince me otherwise.
