Why should they? they got the land, they live there, its thier home. ok, they probably shouldnt be renegeing on their agreement with the Palestinians about letting them live on the West Bank, but conflict between the two would have arisen anyway, seeing as they both lay claim to Jerusalem etc. but why should they move due to strongarm tactics by a bunch of bullies?

The simple answer is no- the current settlement of Israel is historically the original settlement. The Jews were scattered after the Romans sacked Ierosolymam or Jerusalem, and the settlement of Massada was sieged and destroyed. Many Jews were sold into slavery, killed or sent to other places, and Israel became a Roman province, as detailed in the story of Jesus' birth in the New Testament. The Jewish state was restored after the Second World War on the agreement that the land given was the original ancient borderlines. The problem lies in that the Palestinian state was created before the reformation of the Israelite state, leading to conflict when the land changed hands.
The main solution would almost probably mean that all the alliances and backhand deals the Islamic countries have would have to be cut off.

It's a matter of principle. They shouldn't leave!!! They have every right to be there.
The state of Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate, desert and swamp, with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads. The inhabitants considered themselves mostly Syrian. The Balfour Declaration issued by the British, who were given the mandate over the area by the League of Nations. Jews have lived in the country since Biblical times. The Arabs from the surrounding areas were lured to "Palestine" by the industry and prosperity that the Jews brought to the region. Envy, hatred and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews. In 1947, under pressure, the British resigned their mandate. The same year, the United Nations mandated partioning of the territory. The Jews, though disappointed, accepted the partition. The Arabs rejected it and launched war against Israel. The armies of five Arab countries invaded. Following the exhortations of the invaders, the Arab residents got out of the way hoping to return after victory was attained. They could then reclaim their property and that of the Jews, all of whom would have been killed or would have fled. Israel won. That and that alone is the source of the Palastinian "refugees". Had the Arabs accepted the UN partition plan, there would now have been a state of "Palestine" for the last 58 years. The might have attained a similar level of prosperity, advancement and development as Israel. 50% of Israel's population now includes refugees from Morocco, Algeria, Iraq and Yemen. All were accepted by Israel with open arms and have become successful members of their society. The Palestinians refused to integrate these refugees into their population and instead confined them to "refugee camps". The ones there are now fourth generation and through no fault of Israel.

Fortunately, it is a foursome of cowards. Hamas and Hezbollah have no politics, only hatred for people who are not in their local tribe. Their tactics involve sending their own children to blow up other children while they sit back and pretend to honor God.
Syria is a bad joke. It's a back-water country with no resources and no hope for the future.
Iran is run by a nut job. They may posture about ridding the world of Israel, but it is just talk. For the last 2 or 3 decades, the only country they've attacked is Iraq. Arab against Arab. It's been that way for thousands of years, and it's not changing.

Relocating might not be a bad idea, but face it, it's not going to happen.
Also, you might be suprised at what the U.S. can do with it's "bombs and guns" as you put it. However, they're kind of stretched out between Iraq and Afghanistan now. This is why Hezbollah has decided to instigate this now.
On a final note, the entire population of Iran wouldn't be fighting in a war with the U.S.. Besides, the U.S. has superior training and infinitely better technology. See what Iran is slipping to Hezbollah? WWII technology. That won't cut it.

No. Israel's only viable option is all out warfare against those entities you mentioned. Israel cannot afford the luxury of seeing her enemies point of view. Israel must completely and utterly destroy Syria and Iran. Carpet bomb them back into the stone age. Take the war to their civilian populations. Actually Israel is already at war with Syria and Iran. But instead of kill soldiers from those countries Israel is fighting their proxies. If she is to survive she MUST take out Syria and Iran permanently. And while she's at it finish off the Saudis as well. Make no mistake about it, all arabs hate us. If any are nice to us it is only because they want to exploit us. The Saudis would turn on us in an instand if they weren't dependant on us for their security and revenue.
So, go Israel! We're always here to give you moral support. Unfortunately the dips--ts in Washington are too gutless to do much else.

Yes, I agree that Israel should consider relocating. I suggest the lands currently occupied by Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, and Lebonon.

I wish they would!!
They could relocate to America - there's plenty of space, and America seems to think that Jews can do no wrong...! Maybe that view would change if Israel started attacking and invading the neighbouring American states!!
; )
And I agree with you - I also see no end to the current conflict.

Israel should remember what someone intelligent in the US said (Abraham Lincoln (defiantly not George Bush))
"Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?"
I use a US quote as they are donating at least $1 Billion a year to arm Israel with weapons of mass destruction and selling them the same.
