Yes, the employers are a problem but that is not an excuse to be used to justify the illegals being here.
Both are illegal and both should be prosecuted as stated in the punishment for each law; employers get fines and illegal aliens get deported.

They are at least part of the blame. But remember, most illegal employees come to employers with fake I.D.s and Social Security Cards that look as good as the real thing.
What would you like employers to do? Hire private investigators to find out if each potential employee is legal?

Not only employers, but many past administrations have always turned their backs on this issue. Unfortunately now that Illegal immigrants have become a part of our economy, we really do not what the chaanges that will take place if they are all removed. Like a $10 salad at your local restaurant. So we can all point our fingers at each other because we have all benefited from their presence.

Texas Co. Hired Illegals to Make MREs
McALLEN, Texas, Oct. 28, 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(AP) A Texas employment agency was sentenced to five years of probation for hiring illegal immigrants to work at the nation's top producer of military battlefield rations, federal prosecutors said Thursday.
The Tollin Group was also fined $20,000 and ordered to pay $414,000 in civil penalties Wednesday. It has been barred from Department of Defense contracts for three years.
The San Antonio-based company, which does business as Remedy Intelligent Staffing, pleaded guilty in January to hiring illegal immigrants and trying to cover it up by falsifying employment eligibility forms. The workers were hired for Wornick Co., which makes MREs _ or "meals ready-to-eat."
The investigation was initiated in February 2003 after an al-Qaida operative was arrested with information pointing to McAllen and Wornick as terrorist targets. Wornick had been awarded a $47 million contract to produce more than 1.1 million MREs for U.S. forces in Iraq.
The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force ran background checks on Wornick employees and found hundreds of temporary employees with fraudulent documentation.
No direct link to terrorism was found.
Note that this company who had a 47 MILLION dollar govt contract, were not only hiring illegals, they were hiring temps so they didn't have to give any benefits!!

Yes, although a recent article suggested homeowners are the biggest employer of illegals. They need to get their fair share of grief as well.

I agree. that ought to nip the issue in the bud. yet no authorities administration, Democrat or Republican, has cracked down on them for decades. INS is almost ineffective. i ought to element to 10 agencies around the following which have maximum in all probability unlawful workers, i'm ninety% particular, and that risk is extreme adequate to inspect, yet i have in no way considered any brokers. they don't opt to crack down on the agencies, it makes money. All politicians communicate about how undesirable the issue is, yet i have not considered a unmarried one genuinely do the only element that ought to stop it, because they don't opt to.

I blame those who knowingly hire illegals, but most illegals have fake papers, which they can get easily. Could you tell the difference. I don't think I could.

A good part of it yes. But no one makes people break the law neither--they should be held just as accountable-no more no less.
