If we need more troops to fight this war, then why not put immigrants in english classes, and have them serve for four years? This country was made on people fighting for freedom, why not give them a chance to fight for theirs? Their immediate family can live here while they serve, and be classified as citizens if anything were to happen to the one serving. Now granted I know this is a melting pot, and I get pissed every time I have to press 1 for English, but I think this is a proposition that could help both problems. After they get out of the military they will know english alot better and have a pretty good chance of getting a good job, and I think that would help the economy alot. Just a thought.

We sent them to the Mexican border to do paperwork and build roads. I thought the National Guard was to "guard and protect" our boarder from intruders. Shouldn't they be doing the job they were created for. Is Bushy boy chicken or what?

A man that does not speak english,had a fake ID and was drinking ran into a police car and fled from the accident.

There was another incident near my area where a woman was raped and beaten by an illegal.
As soon as I find the link I will post it here.
These are not law abiding citizens who are here to be productive citzens or help our economy.
Do you really feel we should just let them keep pouring in and not deport the ones who are here?

I don't. I think they will continue to send their $$$ home to Mexico. They have no intention of pledging allegiance to America. All this discussion about amnesty is ridiculous. Make me believe these criminals even WANT to have American citizenship.

I think we have got some politicians by the balls, ANYBODY WHO is smart will get their butts out and vote against a REPUBLICAN who sells his country out, I would like to give a shot out to the three DEMS who voted against this bill. They wont be voting on this until the ELECTIONS ARE OVER.
