You know, I think I will break into your home, and camp out in your living room, and sell drugs that I cook in your basement, eat your food, and have protest marches when you call the police to remove me from your home. After all, all I did was break a tiny little law...

Without laws nations became animals and many were hurt.
You might not like a law but you should protect it and not defend a lawbreaker. Change it by votes and yes you might have to wait a long time.
It is not a little law it is law. And there is no excuse to break it.
What if everyone broke little laws. Drinking and driving, speeding, littering(can you imagine the dirty world)taking drugs and than working on an airplane or helping a doctor, no headlights,no insurance and ect. How about if everyone Jaywalked wouldn't that make it hard to drive and wouldn't more people get hurt. Little laws have purpose too. Please don't defend bad actions. Change laws peacefully even if you must wait. They serve a purpose. Even in this issue. No one hates the people but many appreciate law.

One of the problems is the term "tiny little law". The result of a million people breaking a tiny little law is enormous. It is a huge burden to America. If it is such a tiny little law...why wont people adhere to it? I have no hate towards these people ..but..I am not going to candy coat anything for them. It is illegal and they should be punished. I do not hate my children when i have to punish them. And besides, this position 77% of America is taking against illegals, isn't just for the current Legals here...it is for future law abiding immigrants.

Would you hate someone for breaking a tiny little law, like, beating you up or stealing your car? Would you actually have hate towards these people?

I didn't hate the illegals at first, just kind of pitied them. But the more I hear from people like you, the more I just want to shoot them for being criminals and invading my country, just like your country does.

Your stoopid! and the answer is yes! I hate the thought of My beloved country being overrun by a criminal horde of "Immigrants" . It has consumed me, I cant sleep, or eat because of this problem. Get it through your "tiny little" brain, You break a law, you are a criminal. Thats what criminals do, break laws. I believe that it is time for the American people to rise up and put a stop to this problem once and for all. Do it legally or not, but stop illegal immigration!! NO AMNESTY!

Hate is strong word and "tiny" little law is your opinion.

All we ask is that people who break the law be punished according to the prescribed punishment for that offense. The tiny little punishment for breaking into the country illegally is deportation. How about stealing someones identify? That is a Federal offense and every illegal who uses a stolen SSN is a felon.

Absolutely, if they want to come here they should learn englisch and become american they way every other nationality does i.e. WORK FOR IT! I moved here from Deutschland when I was 13 and had to memorize the National Anthem, and several facts about Americas history, and the then current leaders of the nation. Now mexicans who sneak into this country get amnesty and their green cards just handed to them. They should all be rounded up and shipped back to mexico or where ever they come from. Illegals bring down the Minimum wage and use our tax dollars. When I go to Taco Bell I want Mexican food, not to spoken to in Spanish by some clerk who never took time time to learn english.

Hate is too strong of a word. I don't hate people just for being lawbreakers. Even if you think it is a tiny little law (which I don't believe crossing international borders is), I still get annoyed at those who do that. Some examples: people who drive down the shoulder of the freeway during heavy traffic, people who flick their cigarette butts into the gutter, people who take 15 items into the 10 items of less express lane at the grocery store.

In short, I disapprove of lawbreaking, especially when lawbreakers benefit at the expense of others. Every tax dollar spent on imported poverty from another country is one less tax dollar for the indigent that are born here.

I'm with chulapanama on the "Hatred" point...

However, PANCHA, you're back on the subject of it being a 'tiny', insignificant law; it is not...

When enforced, the U.S.'s immigration policies are quite lax when compared to other countries. When they are NOT enforced, well, it's as good as putting up a giant billboard that says:
"TERRORISTS - PLEASE COME IN AND ATTACK US".

The 9/11 attacks made it patently clear that our national security needed shoring-up, and stringently addressing these long-overlooked illegal immigration practices is just part of this shoring-up process. The fact that illegal immigrants may suffer because of this is incidental, as they shouldn't have been allowed in this country to begin with...

If you don't think that I feel for them, PANCHA, you are wrong. But the fact is that they are here illegally, and now it seems that they are upset because the U.S. has found itself in the 'unique' position of actually having to enforce it's immigration laws, which they have been breaking for several decades now...

I'm sorry, but when national security is at stake: The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few...
(you've got to love Spock)...:-)))

I don't hate them for breaking the law. I do think that allowing illegal aliens is not in the best interest of my country, so I think that tiny little law (Title 8 Section 1325 of the US Code) should be enforced.

Illegal aliens tax our social services and natural resources. Immigrant-driven population growth is resulting in shortages of housing, water, and the paving over of open space and farmland to make room for more housing. And another important point is that illegal aliens change the supply and demand equation for labor, depressing wages and allowing employers to offer jobs with low wages and no benefits.
