Good question. I'd like to hear some good reasons why they think it is acceptable too. Personally I don't think there is ANY valid argument that will fly for coming here illegally. I'll check back. Thanks for asking.

Personally, I do not think the law is fair nor does it serve justice. It would not be the first time in US History where the country had an unfair, unjust law on the books--- suffrage comes to mind, as does slavery, as does prohibition --- and laws don't get changed just because politicians feel like it. The people have to lobby for reform. And I believe that is what is happening now.

I am not against having immigration laws but I think it is unfair and injust to make compliance out of reach of so many immigrants. Therefore I do not support the current immigration laws and I won't be a supporter till there's real reform.

There is none. It is wrong and everyone knows it.
And you can forgive without rewarding for bad behavior.
Many have that right.
And there is no excuse or reason that you can not come in legally the way you should.
Those who defend a law breaker knowingly are pretty bad. Stop make excuses for law breakers maybe we should go back to six guns and let lawlessness go ramp-it. Laws were for a purpose to protect people. If you don't like them either peacefully vote and change them or move where you can break all the laws you want.

We are not suggesting that people break laws, we are preaching forgiveness, because the government makes the immigration process too hard that it is unrealistic. You are supposedly "native American" so immigration might be a foreign concept to you, but try and have some sympathy!

This is not about pro-illegalism of immigrants. You ask a "cause and effect" question: Our government never enforced our immigration laws regarding the southern borders. This is the effect. Why do you expect this forum to answer your question? Write your congressman and have him help you with your answer.

Actually I'm a Canadian who knows an illegal Mexican immigrant. They (husband and wife) really contributed to society. A lot more than most people I know. They were just like you or me, but in a tough situation. They moved back to Mexico and asked us to visit them.
