I don't. I think they will continue to send their $$$ home to Mexico. They have no intention of pledging allegiance to America. All this discussion about amnesty is ridiculous. Make me believe these criminals even WANT to have American citizenship.

What Up: You need to go to www.minutemanhq.com and view the surveillance videos. They are crossing illegally all the time in droves. You can't be that naive to really think they aren't coming here undocumented. Come On!

According the the PEW Hispanic research center the vast majority of illegals DO NOT want to be citizens. They don't care about amnesty. They do not want to assimilate. Where these other people are getting their information I have no idea. If they(illegals) cared at all about wanting to be citizens they would have been waving proudly the American flag instead of defaming it the way many did. Amnesty will NOT work. Amnesty has not worked in the past and it is ridiculous for anyone to think it will work this time around.

I would never make you want to believe a thing. I have a feeling that would be impossible.
What I do know is I read an article not too long ago.....(I am a reader much more than an internet freak).....and it said that the both economies were doing well by hard work. As a matter of fact they said flourishing.
Hard work needs no billboard......they want.....what we all want.....strong children, happy families, a home to call their own. Yes.....they want citizenship....and they want a GOOD LIFE........you should want that for any neighbor as well.

well you obviously don't have an idea. I know a family that came here as illegal immigrants and are now American Citizens. But hey you believe whatever you want to believe from the media(I judge the person by knowing them first not the other way around)

I think that since America offers opportunity for $$$$ and that the value of the US currency is greater. They just want to come here, use us as much as possible, send money for their family to come here and all live together. Having NO allegiance to America & what we stand for.

They don't want to become citizens. They want citizen benfits. There is proof they already use them, including the citizen right to vote. Plus, according to one of my friends- a legal immigrant from Mexico- "the majority of illegals are basically the trash that not even Mexico wants. Many are often criminals that Mexico wants to be rid of." I believe this, and the proof is here:

We'll make a deal. If you, I mean when you, the fat-assed, wal-mart shopping, inbred mo-fo's stop your consumerism habits, we will stop coming over here. What does consumerism have to do with immigration? Let me tell you. Americans are a bunch of tight wadded mo-fo's. You want to buy the best things, for the cheapest price.
This causes American corporations to cave in to the "fruggal" American consumer. American Corporations decide to then move thier manufacturing plants to Mexico and third world countries. As a result, American corporations abroad pay thier worker "demonic slave wages". These corporations destroy the economies they "invade". They pollute the counties they occupy. These corporations avoid paying taxes to this pork-bellied country. Gee, your country is really patriotic huh?
People like your self "mom", elect these corrupt politicians. These politicians then sell their corrupted soul to these very powerfull corportaions. VERY AMERICAN!!!!!

No, I've never thought that. The bulk of them have never had intentions of staying in the US forever - they are here for the money and they plan to return home - but they want to return home when they decide it is time to - not when the US tells them to go home. They don't want US citizenship.

I don't believe they all want to be citizens.Maybe a select few since there are always exceptions but they are only here to commit crimes and send money back to Mexico.
