It's all I hear..... the poor, the poor, the poor. I don't give a damn about the poor. Why should I? What does the poor have to do with me? Get a job. The same could be said about immigrants, minorities, blah blah blah. I DO care about the rights of women...... um, because I AM ONE. See how that works?

Should voting be restricted to land owners, stock holders and military? These are the people that actually own a piece of the U.S. or are fighting for it. People on welfare or the poor are always going to vote for the party that promise to give them more for doing nothing. Do they have a right to demand what the government does with yours and my money?

Fact: Republican Senators have brough 62 fillibusters in the first year of the 110th Congress. This passes the previous mark of 61 fillibusters in a Congressional term and we are only half-way though this one!!!

I have vacation durring my court date and I'm asked to go because my laptop and xbox got stollen but they cought the criminals inside my parent's house doing the action...I have to go to my vacation because I bought the plane tickets before the court date was issued...And if I do show up to court then it defeats the purpose of the case because I'd be getting robbed again for all the money I spent on the plane ticket and on the accesories I bought to go to my destination...this really sucks...should I just miss this court date??? after all it's just a juvinile trial...my family knows how my stuff looks like so can they claim it for me??? I got my stuff using my dad's debit card but I paid him in cash...so he can prove he bought it right??? and by the way I live in california...I understand laws are different in every state lol...please help me people I would truely appreciate it

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, they say. Yet so few of our students know much about law except what they see on tv. I'm submitting a proposal to the local schools in my area asking that they consider teaching law starting in the fifth grade.
Do you think lawyers will feel threatened by this endeavor?

Could this possibly come from the African Union? Several leaders of African countries have expressed open desire to form one single federated Nation. BTW I think this would be great news for Africa, especially in the long run.

If someone graduated 10th out of 510 seniors in high school, would you think it'd be a waste to be a LAPD cop? I wouldn't think so, although I'd prefer that that person work for FBI or CIA or DHS.

The paper said it was breaking with its tradition of endorsing both Republican and Democratic candidates to put its full support behind McCain. It cited the senator's support for the Iraq troop surge, tax cuts and immigration reform as reasons for the endorsement.

My question pretty much sums it up. But where do I store it in my vehicle? Can I have ammunition?

We will be on vacation for around 3 weeks and I was wondering if I could bring my pistol with if it was unloaded? We will be visiting aroung 8 states (driving) on the eastern seaboard. I could leave it with my mother but she doesn't want it in the house and my house was broken into last year so I don't want to leave it here either. Whats the rule when entering into other states with firearms??

first of all my sis in law was preg and she has gotten usa visa without any probs so she decided that she was gona come here hide her pegnant stomach at immigration and have her baby here so it could be american for free.. i think thats wrong what would u do about it and is this a crime cuz i dont think its cool for someone to be so greedy to getting a usa passport that they have to do this low act i cant stand people like that. what would u do if u knew someone was doing this would u report them if so is there a punishment?
