Only if you think religious oppression, genocide, slavery, war, and rape are all humanitarian, and of course view women as property.

The Muslim faith has been taken over by heretics in many countries. Even if heretics made up 10% of the Muslim faith, that would still leave 100 million of them.

On the other hand, that means 900 million of them that probably practice their faith the correct way according to the Koran. Most of those 900 million are those needing help rather than those doing the helping. Now it depends on what is ment by humanitarian. If you mean can they fend for themselves and prosper? The answer is no, because the Koran prevents this. They are banned from micro loans, compound interest, bonds, annuities and even stock dividends. This puts them in a catch-22. They need money to open a business yet they don't have the money because they need the business to be operating before they get any money. Many businesses in poor countries can start up for under $500 and that's how micro loans help. Compund interest is one of the greatest investment strategies yet they are shut out from using it. They could never buy a car or a house or own land, because those things are too expensive for them.

No. I don't see Islam as being very humanitarian. If it was it would recognize their women as being equal partners and not subjugating them and treating them as second class citizens. Also, their ruling class, particularly Saudi Arabia, would not be funnelling money into radical Islam causes in order to enact discord and killings in various parts of the world.

No way , only from a primitive barbaric point of view . What is humanitarian about stoning to death women who have been raped ? What is humanitarian about killing your own sons and daughters for wanting to leave Islam ? What is humanitarian about murdering a daughter because she didn't want to wrap her head in a rag in public ?

No because of their intolerance of other cultures and peoples. Yes because of their staunch adherence to what they believe to be the will of God.

Christianity is by far the most humanitarian of all world religions.

Islam is no more or less valid or harmful than any other religion that people have invented. It's not the religion itself that is harmful, it is the leaders that manipulate their followers to do harm and the followers that allow themselves to be manipulated that are the problem.
