If people are continually subdued if they speak against the Government where is the democracy....
I think its a nice little word that is abused and some countries think they support it when in reality its people dont even live it!

The MEDIA is subdued and controlled.....
Individuals are hated for voicing opinions
( I hear Americans often use aggressive language if they dont like an opinion)....yes i know they are not gonna nuke me ,it makes me wonder what they actually teach about democracy in the United States...........

Pure democracy is majority rule. Individual rights are dangerously exposed to the whims of a popular vote.
The United states of America was formed as a Constitutionally guaranteed democratic Republic. The Constitution is the contract between the People, as well as between the individual States.
Technically, the contract has been dissolved and we no longer have a contract. The Constitution must be restored or we are destined to be economically, politically and militarily terrorized for generations to come.
Without the Constitution we have no guarantee of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Democracy simply means rule of government by the people. That can take many forms, and is sometimes questionable. Mr Putin has one idea, the Swiss have another idea. All government is imperfect, as is the people who run these governments. In some places, cultural attitudes are very different from the norm.
