If you think this is true, what could be the cause?

It seems very fragmented at this time. Reason: it has been proven that the legacy left by Reaganomics and "Traditional Family Values" is a complete failure and they don't know what to grab on to next.

Now that Mezmarel has declared Reaganomics and family values extinct, we Republicans will have to decide which thing to glom onto next. Maybe abortion, gun control, gay marriage or any of those other wonderful and uplifting liberal platform planks will be our new pet cause. I personally am going to drive around with my windows down and air conditioner on full blast in order to help combat global warming. I'll probably stop clubbing baby seals, too. "Free Mumia!!"

It does appear that way. It could be because most of the republican candidates don't really have the same values as the republican voters.

Yes, there is no clear solid conservative who is also electable. People consider electability along with their decision and that person just doesn't exist. Get ready for President Clinton, unless Obama gets the nomination somehow or MAYBE if we go with Guiliani.

GO OBAMA!!!

I think so...and I think that is great. The Democrats are being force fed Hillary. I wouldn`t like to be on that side of things.
