On Wed. Bush signed an energy bill that would boost biofuel production and raise vehicle fuel economy standards by 40%. This should save more than 4 million barrels of oil per day by 2030. Sounds good? What's the catch? Well by agreeing to this bill the promise that (his buddies) oil companies such as Exxon Mobil, BP, and Conoco Phillips will not have their taxes increased. Once again the agenda is to help serve his interests in letting the oil companies get richer. What are your feelings about this deal?

one of the neighbours of the apartment has been opening my mails, sometimes keeping the mails and closely monitoring my activities. I am suspicious of someone but not sure. The landlord is not doing that, as he is a well wisher of mine. what should i do? how should i stop this activity? i cannot charge anyone withour proof.

NB: I have enough evidences to prove my allegations. My job related mails are the target, not bank statements, even my paystab was stolen last week. I am from New York City.

forget the family business and friends of friends...if Bush was forced to live by his own skills, what could he do? Nothing in sales please....does he have any blue collar, manly skills other than able to use a brand new chain saw and drive a pickup? Or is he just a rich boy playing with Daddy's stuff?

Jamie Lynn just confirmed that she is pregnant at 16 years old. She is star of the hit Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101" If they were to fire her, would that be sex discrimination based on pregnancy? Could she bring a lawsuit against them for unlawfully firing her? I don't think any girl/woman should be fired based on pregnancy!

My wife and I are active duty military. We have been staioned overseas in korea for 1 year. We are now stationed in WA our problem is mainly with her parents The last time we limited her parents contact to the children they call child protective services and filed a complaint of neglect 1 day before christmas eve. Which was found to be unsubstantiated but under the law they were not allowed to tell us who filed the complaint but the grandparents admitted it later. both children have been in the temporary custody of the grandparents for 1 year because we were deployed. I need help to figure out what to do because my wife and i suspect that the children may have been brainwashed to be afraid of the other grandparents. what are our rights concerning this every time we do something they interfere i want to send the children to see a therapist to see if they can disern what has happened. They seem to want custody of my stepson not our daughter. i need help and the military can do little

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - The mother of a 13-year-old boy has been arrested for supplying nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, used during her son's ditch parties at their Lake Elsinore home.

Maria Antonia Mendez was arrested for providing the gas used by the teens to get high. Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Evan Petersen says the teens skipped school and hung out at the home.

Police began investigating the case after a school officer noticed repeated absences of a group of students. Canisters of nitrous oxide were found by deputies serving a search warrant Monday evening.

Investigators say the teenagers filled balloons with the gas and inhaled it.

The sergeant says the 28-year-old mother also participated in the nitrous parties. She was booked for investigation of multiple counts of child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The KC-135 entered the Air Force inventory in the 1950's. The KC-10, an adaptation of the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 airliner, joined the inventory in the late 1970's.

Both are aging. What should be the replacement airframe?

One current proposal is to modify the Boeing 767 airliner. I don't know if it has ever been proposed formally, but it would seem another good candidate could be the C-17 Globemaster III airlifter--possibly as a convertable tanker/airlifter.

What would you suggest? Modified 747s? Maybe a 777 mod? Even a 787 mod? How about a bus--an Airbus, that is? Or maybe a redesigned Lockheed C-5?

Or should it be an all-new airframe? With the newest Air Force tanker now nearly 30 years old, it is safe to say this tanker will be around for a while. What should it be?

Save the free world. Suggest the next major gas passer.

Can you really say you are happy with how our country has been run in recent history? If you are someone looking for a change for America, Hilary Clinton is NOT change.

OK...What about this ...His son confessed to catching a stray helpless dog and hanging it by it's neck and than throwing rocks at it until it was bloddy and dead! Is that the kind of "Father" we want for our country?

So I receive this letter in the mail back in June saying that I owe money to Countrywide tax service because of an error with my house taxes. They represented the previous owner and paid the taxes on my house 3 months after I purchased the house. So I get ahold of them and to my knowledge resolve the issue. Yesterday my wife e-mails me a collection notice. I leave a scathing msg for th person to contact me via email as I am deployed in Kuwait. She does and says she made several attempts to contact CitiMortgage (my mortgage co) to no avail. So I've started a response e-mail, and it's not nice.

So my questions are, can this company initiate a collection against me even if the issue is between them and CitiMortgage? Are they able to do a collection while I am mobilized?

I "had" no issue with resolving this, however, now I want to make it as painful and costly for them as possible. Thanx.

I'm not for it, but I'm not totally against it either. I'm still researching this issue and have not formulated an opinion quite yet. Looking for good solid responses.

Before you say that you don't support it because it is simply un-American, then please cite your reference/source for this. Also, please consider that America has never dealt with terrorists in it's history until now.

Every time I give her a new idea or a project to finish, whenever I discuss a new corporate policy, she finds some gray area around it and then argues against it. If I say, “Okay then, what’s your idea?” she just gives me a ton of hazy answers. What is the best way to deal with someone like that? By the way, I don’t have the option of firing her at this time.
Thanks.

How ridiculous is this. The USA were smart enough to hold out from the stupid Kyoto treaty, which was supposed to cut down on carbon emissions just came out with proof that they are just hot air.
need proof, of course:

"Emissions worldwide increased 18.0%.
Emissions from countries that signed the treaty increased 21.1%.
Emissions from non-signers increased 10.0%.
Emissions from the U.S. increased 6.6%."

So uh, why were people so happy with this. We didn't join and we did better than ALL OF THEM.
The UN is the worst political group in the world , we should get out, and kick them out of our country, now.
What a joke. What a flipping joke.
here is the article.

I really want apply in the future, but I just want know what my likelihood of getting in is.

I'm a sophomore in high school and I have a 3.7 GPA currently (I'm taking several AP classes and doing well in all of them)... though I'm in the regular honors level math (opposed to a full level ahead), will that hurt me?

I am in the civil air patrol (and by the time i apply it would've been for 2 1/2 years). I am a synchronized skater, and i play lacrosse. I'm currently working on my gold award for girl scouts, and volunteer with my church.

And what do you need to do to get the congressional appointment?

Any tips will help! Am I on the right track?
