entertainers were poor and were employed to entertain the rich and the powerful; these days, entertainers are well off, they entertain the masses and employeed--not just chosen.

What political influence caused this change?

Okay so I might have been over the limit but it could have also been a blow out. I had a hole in the side of my tire but I was drinking that night when I wrecked my truck. No one else was involved.

Dec 1st 2007 I was charged and two blood test were done at the hos. one about 2 hours after the accident and the other about 8 hours after the accident. I still have no results and neither the hospitial nor the police dept can seem to tell me them. The police say they need to get them from the hospitial and the hospitial says that once they're in the hands of the police they don't have access to them.

Something doesn't seem right here, any advise?

I was awarded resitution by a court order last Sept. I was suppose to receive 1/4 of the money within thirty days and the rest within six months. I has in a shooting incident and the guy that shot me hasn't even paid me half of what he owes. Is there anything I can do to get my money or get him put in jail for not paying. I have hospital bills that I have to pay and he is walking free while I am struggling to pay for what he did. Please give any advice that you can! The District Attorney's office acts like they don't even care.

Healthcare and Pharmacy companies are making billions of dollars with this system. I have seen a documentary call "SICKO" about how are health system works and compare with all the other countries, we are #13 on the list for providing good healthcare for our citizens. Even Cuba has a better system than us, inhaler medicine cost $120 in the U.S., but in Cuba $2.50. Tell me what the ((*&&*(&*(& is going on. If we don't do anything about this, I think we will only work to pay for our healthcare.............................

If Bush did nothing else right, he always made sure that he seemed like he had a very defintite idea of what he wanted to do. No amount of protest seemed to sway him.

The Dems see an obvious opening where the people are hungry for change, but the dems won't step up and at least act like they are determined to go in the direction of that change. Why?

When some Americans fight to keep gay and lesbian people from having the right to marry, their main argument is based on Christianity :

The biggest reason that gays are kept from marrying legally in the United States is because there are outspoken Christians who don't want it.

If that is a justified position, should we then pass law that all women should wear the burka in the United States under the same argument - that there are outspoken Muslims here that desire that?

(Not talking about what should be accepted within religions - but the separation of church and state)

Today i got pull over the very first time in my life,

I feel this war is just pointless and many people are losing their lives for nothing. At first we invaded iraq becuase they were suspected of having nuclear weapons which turns out that wasn't the case. We've already took out Saddam so he's no longer a threat and were still over there fighting and it appears that were not accomplishing anything at all. they already have there own military so I don't have a clue why all our troops have to still be over there. and now there talking about going to war with Iran for reasons I don't know why. from what I hear there suspected of having nuclear weapons. with such a huge strain on the military do you think that they could possibly bring the draft back? what are everyone elses thoughts on the war? do you think it's worth fighting or not? and why?

All but one guy who worked there that I made eye contact with started f*cking with me.

It was like I had some huge sign on my forehead that said they were supposted to f*ck with me.

Don't get me wrong I thought it was kindof funny, and most of them came around once they started talking to me.

Is their some sort of look on someones face that makes military people wanna f*ck with you? I had never said anything to these people and I'm not a minority.

I know theirs only more of this crap to come in bootcamp, but are there any tips on how to get the exact opposite of this to happen in bootcamp? It seems like people were noticing me MORE here whereas in bootcamp you want the Drill Sergant to notice you less.
