The dems always focus on doing what is popular, this never works out for the best. This is what happens when you make all of your judgments on feelings, instead of facts.

The Dems have administration of the living house yet not the Senate. The Senate has a 60% rule that stymies the Democrats time after time. Todays vote substitute into fifty 4 - 40 4(?) to bypass, a sparkling majority yet a defeat decrease than the regulations. paradoxically, it substitute into the Dems that pushed for that rule decrease back interior the ninety's while issues weren't going properly for them.

The Dem party is in deep trouble. The problem is with the leadership. They are doing a terrible job and Bush makes them look foolish every week. The Presidential candidates are a complete joke. Hillary's negatives are so high she can never win the general. Barack is a very liberal black man with a Muslim father and drug use background. The Democratic party is like a ship without a rudder. No direction. No values. No successes. Pathetic.

I am a veteran and wounded in Korea and they do not help me regarding how the VA is always trying to reduce my benefits.
The Democrats are all talk and almost no courage to stand up to the criminals in the White House. They lied and that is how they won the legislative majority.
Nancy Pelosi and Jane Harman are traitors like Dubya regarding the Patriot Acts. I used to believe that a woman would do better but they are just as awful as men when it comes to integrity.

The Democrats courage to criticize and control GWB before the November 2006 elections and now they are caving in to GWB's demands. They should be prosecuted for False Advertising for all promises that helped them win the US Senate and US House of Representatives.
GWB is corrupt and so is his administration.

I don't find either party to show much strength and leadership so I'm worried about which lesser of evils will run our country.
However, as far as your definition of George W. Bush reads, that could apply to anyone who has no clue so they stick to the script without deviating. That's not necessarily strength but could be just stubborn ignorance.
Example:
Adolph Hitler always made sure that he seemed like he had a very definite idea of what he wanted to do. No amount of protest seemed to sway him.
Idi Amin always made sure that he seemed like he had a very definite idea of what he wanted to do. No amount of protest seemed to sway him.

Its a common misconception among those who mistake intellectual solutions for weakness. A soldier sees only a military solution. A scholar believes talking will resolve everything. But a true leader knows when, where and how to employ both diplomat and soldier to achieve the best result. America is desperate for a true leader.

You must not be paying attention. Give the new guy or woman a chance. Many Dems have got good ideas they need to apply. Wait and see. They know there has to be some major changes that the Repubs are not going to address no matter what they say.

The only major item on the dem/lib agenda is regaining power...any way they can. But...ask them what they are planning to do once a dem becomes President... they don't want to tell anyone, 'cause then they'd lose the election. Why?
They want to:
raise taxes
Cut and run
We get gay newlyweds shoving it in our faces on TV
negotiate while Iran builds a bomb
open the boarders wide for more millions of illegals to scamper in for the increased welfare, drivers licenses.
spend the government dry so..
THEY RAISE TAXES AGAIN
THATS WHY THEY'RE WEAK.

not being swayed to vote on bills that benefit Americans doesn't make the other party appear weak, it just makes Bush appear stupid, and hard-headed...the reason Republican candidates are trying to be Ronald Reagan in their campaigns, instead of George W Bush.
You could say the same thing about any oppressive leader throughout history...."boy he sure made ____ look weak! now he is just making the whole country look that way!"

Because that's just they way they are.
And by the way, your first observations is exactly why they hate him so and their response? They call him names. How weak is that? Can't you just picture him doing his SNL laugh when they call him names?
And for all those of you who talk about Bush's veto power, it shows how uninformed you are. He didn't even use it once until 6 years into his term, has used it less than any other President and will likely go down in History as having used it less than any other President.
