Okay so I might have been over the limit but it could have also been a blow out. I had a hole in the side of my tire but I was drinking that night when I wrecked my truck. No one else was involved.

Dec 1st 2007 I was charged and two blood test were done at the hos. one about 2 hours after the accident and the other about 8 hours after the accident. I still have no results and neither the hospitial nor the police dept can seem to tell me them. The police say they need to get them from the hospitial and the hospitial says that once they're in the hands of the police they don't have access to them.

Something doesn't seem right here, any advise?

If you just have nasty things to say about a DUI please save your comments for someone else.

Thanks for the quick responses! Just a quick update; yes I did already hire and lawyer (the same day I was in the hospitial). I am a DJ and I was working that night and did have several beers and 3 drinks over a 7 hour period. I normally skip drinks when offered but I didn't this night and believe me I regret it.

Thx again!

Looks like you'll just have to wait until you get to court. If you have an attorney, which you will need, have him access the information.

First of all...get a lawyer!!! If you haven't already done so. This response may not answer your question, but it is better to protect your interests at this time and your attorney can gain access to that information if you cannot.

As in other states, Ohio is seriously cracking down on DUI's, so you need to get ahead of this if possible. If you are getting the run-around, there is probably a good reason for that. The hospital wants to absolve themselves of any involvement and the police do not want to tip their hand (that is, if the blood tests came back showing you were over the limit).

Get a lawyer please...

The results should have come back already. If I were you I would get a hold of the court and ask the status of your case.

If the arresting officer cannot provide that info to you, call his supervisor. If the super can't tell you anything, get a lawyer. If you have HIPPA laws in your state, you may need to go to the hospital and recieve those results in person.
