I have a test in American Govt tomorrow. I was absent for the review today (had a doctors appt). But anyway, on our study guide it tells us this:

Are the following questions a DELEGATED POWER of the national government? If so, is it an ENUMERATED or IMPLIED power? Or, is it a CONCURRENT power held by both the states and national government or a power RESEVERED to the states?

1. Power to declare war and make peace

2. Power to determine rules for citizenship

3. Power to create and support Army and Navy

4. Power to set up a court system

10 pts to the best answer. I tried to answer these myself but am really lost. I wanted to stay there for the review today (where my class went over the answers) but yeah... I need help.

Thanks :)

Freedom of religion is a wonderful thing. People should be free to worship who(what) ever they wish as long as it doesn't harm others.

But let's say that my religion stated that I had to kill 5 people every day who were not of my religion. Or that my religion stated that I must infiltrate a country with others of my religion until we had enough for a good foothold for a war behind enemy lines. Or that my religion said that I must force everyone else to follow my religion too under penalty of death or slavery. Let's say that my religion says to cause harm and/or cover up when others cause harm.

In those cases, should my religion still be protected under the freedom of religion laws?

A 16 year old could drive a car all by themselves, but they can't drive themselves to see a movie with bad words and fighting (legally speaking)...I don't understand the logic behind that! Any thoughts as to why the law was structured that way?

Hi,
I am a soon to be navy wife and I just had a quick question. My future husband is in bootcamp right now in Great Lakes and he is going to be an SK.
When he went down to MEPs in San Diego, the guy who had him pick his job told him that this job would never be put on a ship out to sea.
I was wondering if anybody in the Navy (currently or not) or even better, if an SK could possibly tell me if this is true or not?

Also, if he is put onto a base, what bases are they usually put onto? Or is it any/all bases?

How come no one is wondering if obama is like the real life manchurian candidate..an extreme islamic terrorist in this case who has been groomed and groomed again to be the perfect President, only to be harboring fundamentalist islmic views to be unleashed on the unsuspecting population. How in God's name has so much attention been given to Romney's religion without even mentioning that Obama converted from Islam to Christianity like the day before he decided to run for office?????????????

A lot of people are against the death penalty for rapists, but if their mom, sister, wife, girlfriend, or anyone close to them gets raped, they would support the death penalty for whomever raped their mom, sister, wife, etc.

But if the rapist rapes someone that they don't know, then it's not a good punishment, and all of a sudden they're pro-life?

Hippocrate much?

Isn't is about time that we recognized, this Great American, the Lion of Zion, Leon Sullivan?
I will be surprised if any thinking American will not google and find out who this man was.

I believe that Sullivan, single handedly freed South Africa!

May the Lord Bless his Soul.

Seriously, I have no "land line". The only people I know of that do are folks like my parents, who have simply had the same number for 40 years. I know hardly anyone under 40 does. It is just a silly expense when you have the cell phone... Point is, unless I am mistaken the numbers these poll people call are all from public directories, which means they are only calling the people with land lines. And that would make the poll more than invalid. If that is the case it would be horribly manipulative to present these results as an accurate representation the populace. Propaganda even. Please enlighten me.
