A 16 year old could drive a car all by themselves, but they can't drive themselves to see a movie with bad words and fighting (legally speaking)...I don't understand the logic behind that! Any thoughts as to why the law was structured that way?

I agree there is a conflict with age restricted products and rights. However, if you are as young as you look in the picture you probably won't like my solution. Raise the age for both to 18.

The laws are not related.

And the ratings are not really law, but guidelines agreed to by the movie industry anyway.

Not all movies are rated, and not all movies have ratings for them.

Might I suggest Netflix if you can't figure out how to get in an R-rated movie (hint buy the g ticket and slip over to the other theater...)? :)

Ever seen a 16 yr old trying to back a car out of a drive-in with a woody?

Let him stick to watching Disney till he's older.

Especially since teenage boys are the worst drivers on the road. They think the road is a race track. Very stupid logic indeed!
