Are we not allowed to post what ever we want on Yahoo Answers as long as its not againt the law? Why should people who post law obiding comments be reprted if it is not unlawful and just degrading to some ones ego? We should be able to speak our minds freely on YA. This is America, not China or Russia. I think our First Amendment rights could possibly be violated here. What do Y'all think?

A Frenchman, an American Liberal, and an American Conservative are convicted of treason during the French Revolution and sentenced to the guillotine.

The Frenchman walks up to the guillotine, says “Viva la France”, puts his head in, and the executioner pulls the trip, the blade stops 1 inch from his neck. The executioner says “It is an act of God, you are free to go”.

The American Conservative looks the executioner right in the eye and says “You know, if you put some grease in the grooves that thing would work at lot better”.

Question previously posted was for UK. In UK Public Schools are Private Institutions, in most cases boarding in nature.
I may add that the politics of envy are playing a big part in destroying the middle and upper classes here.

She was charged with driving under the influence, possesison of class c drug, criminal tresspassing, and phone harrassment.

What do you think she will get!
She is not my friend, I am the one who got the warrant on her for telephone harrassment and criminal tresspassing.

We live in Tennessee, and she is 20. I think she might be on probation, but not for sure. She does have a record.

What do you think will happen.

She seems to be regaining weight and have bags under her eyes lately, I think. Is this big effort to push Obama forward giving her some stress or what? She sounds tired and distracted. I cannot imagine what she is after. Stars like Barbara Streisand have wreck their credibility and popularity by going political and looking foolish in the long run. Im 16 and she is 14 turning 15 in april, and today my counselor approached me and said that the age of consent law forbids me from dating someone who isnt 16 also. I looked at the michigan age of consent laws and all i see it forbidding me from is having sex. Which we arent looking to do but my question is is it legal for us to just date as long as nothing sexual happens?

My stolen car was recovered two weeks after. The police found it one week ago, had it towed, impounded, after one week past they called me. Charges include towing a 1 week of impound charges. They called 4:45 Pm Friday I have 15 minutes to fill out some forms and go to the lot to pickup my car. If I don't make it I will be charged 2 more days of impound, closed on weekends. I'm thinking they make most of their calls between 4:30 and 5:00 to get more charges. Also they could have caught the thief if they investigated. The thief left a empty fast food bag in the car with an exact time/dated receipt, the drive up window there takes a picture of every customer via security camera. They refused to investigate.

I'm watching the movie Day Zero right now about the lives of 3 guys that got drafted. Three ordinary guys that opened the mailbox read the letter and found out they were to report in 30 days to the US Military and leave there careers, lives, routines, friends, love ones and pets behind.

I really dont know how I would react, I mean, defend my country? Am I really doing that by leaving my home to go kill another man in his?

What would you do if you got the notice? In those 30 days? Would you run?

Wives, girlfriends, sisters? What would you do?

My sons father is in prison for life but wants me to get an insurance policy on him in the event of. Having trouble finding a decent sized policy for a prisoner without marrying him. If I were to not disclose that he is in prison when starting a policy, would they be able to reject paying if he died?
