is there anymore new news on if they are giving a exemption to the casinos? and will the casinos be able to fight back after January?

we were told we had to go non smoking at our casino at mid night of January 1st which is going to be a headache to any one working that night. I think it's a great Idea and am actually looking forward to not having to breath that crap in. I'm really just hoping that they will not let us get used to going non smoking and then change their minds. I know not everyone agrees with me and everyone is entitled to their opinion but I will be happy when I can go to work and not come home smelling like smoke and feeling like crap.

I am from Springfield, and I was listening to the radio this morning. They said the law will take affect Jan. 1. But the legislature will not be back in session till the 1st or 2nd week of Jan. That is the time they will make the final rules and regulations. This sounds backwards to me, having a law with no rules?

As it stands right now there are no exemptions. Any public place or business has a ban. That is all bars, restaurant, private clubs and the casinos. And to the man who said a truck driver wont come here because his truck is a work place is wrong. He can smoke in his truck.

I heard a truck driver say that he would not drive there because they consider his truck a work place and no smoking in the workplace.. Now this is HIS own truck.. Make some sense of that..

I don't know that there are any exemptions if it is a public place.
