Would you be offended if a Jewish person said "Happy Hannukah' to you ?. . . I'm not Jewish but I'll tell ya I wouldn't be the least bit offended .

Tell me 'Happy Kwanza' and I'll smile and say 'Happy Kwanza to you too' .

Put a sign up in your store that says 'Happy Hannukah' and I'll just say 'more power to ya' .

So for me , this whole BS of 'Holiday Greetings' and the rest of the hypocritical nonsense is just that. . . . . BS.
And although my 'Merry Christmas To You' isn't intended to offend , I really don't care if it does offend .

Answer the titled question and feel free to offer your opinions .. . . . . and do remember to . . . "Have yourself a Merry little Christmas" !!!

I know that Huckabee is probably the least likely to deal with it at all... considering that he says things like "Environmentalists are just those people who want to tell you what kind of deodorant to use."

It's safe to say that Al Gore is not running in this election.

But I honestly have no idea which candidates other than Obama have a plan to work with the IPCC like every other civilized nation.

What are the goals of Madd?
what are the Demographic characteristics of their membership?
What sort of resources do they have at their disposal ($, TV, Celebs, etc)?
To whom do they give money to?
How do they influence the government? (writing bills, testifying, expert opinions, etc)
What government agencies and what congressional committees do they lobby?

My recruiter said if I can pass the PT test before Basic via a 2-mile 15:54 run and a couple of other things he can have me promoted to E-2 before I leave on January 8th. What would the couple of other things be? The 42 pushups and 35 sit ups in 2 minutes? What happens if you don't complete the amount of push ups in time?
I read that that is for the 17-21 age bracket. I am 23 years old.

There is a basic thing I don't understand about the bill. It currently costs about $5 billion to insure 6 million kids through the same mechanism. This bill Bush just vetoed would have covered another 4 million people at a cost of $35 billion.

Now I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but doesn't increasing the cost 700% while increasing the coverage 67% seem like a not so great proposition? Does that give one pause to think that Bush might just be right about vetoing that particular bill as written?

Well it seems that Labor can't find enough things at home to spend everyone’s hard earned cash on, and has become the largest donator to the World Bank.
My local paper is running a campaign called help heat the pensioners and needs funds. What a joke.

I approached a police station to get an FIR registered. They merely gave me a copy of my application with stamp, date and the daily diary entry number. Now a few months have passed and they are dithering in the name of inquiry. Neither are they giving me any written investigation report. The other party have given them some explanation in writing. Can I ask them for a copy of that explanation through filing an RTI application.
Morever can I ask the police station for a written explanation of the investigation they supposedly conducted as a matter of right?
What is the procedure for getting a court order to get the FIR registered? Can I demand anonymity? although it involves me, the case is such that i don't want to get into the open picture. Does the procedure involve giving things like thumb impression and affidavit etc.? How does the cort view such cases? Do I have a fair chance of getting an order? Please help me.

In Wisconsin you don't have to register with a party to vote, you just have to register to vote. I like it that way, I don't think it's the state's business which party I choose to vote for.

hi, I am stressed out. i have to go to court monday because I live in florida and worked in florida and never switch over my out of state license (pennsylvania). what can i do? does anyone have an idea of what kind of pennalty i can get. the cop that pulled me over said he could have taken me to jail that night. i was coming from the club,i didnt take my normal route i decided to take a shorter route so that i could get home early..seconds later i saw a cop car behind me.i didnt panic i just took it easy because i wasnt drinkingg any alcohol..**** as i took the turn the cop started blinking me..the little ****** didnt bother to say ''hi sir good evening please can i see licence and registration''..he said get out of the car with your hands up in the air..seconds later i heard the dog bark..the sound startled me so i jump because i was frightened..next thing the police comments were if i dont cooperate he was goin to let the dog bite me..then my comment were..''isnt that against the law''..he said shut the **** up..then he and 2 other cops started searching my car from top to bottom..i know that im a jamaican and we are known for selling drugs and doin stupid ****..the ******* tore my **** up..then he started searching me..he took off my hat,unbutton my shirt,.took out my wallet out my pocket and took my money out of my pocket,.it was like i was a convict and i didnt have any rights..i felt violated..its 19 degrees and the cop wanted me to sit on the cold pavement..would they tell a white man to do that..i refused and they took me by my belt and put me in the cop car..they wrote me 3 tickets when it was all over..he called me a retard..i know im young and i drive a nice car..but they acted like i was a drug dealer..
