MADD is not a government project. They do, however, have a huge impact on the United States, since they have fascist inclinations and anti-American goals. But let's not beat on them too hard. Well, I will, but you don't have to.

Their goals are simple: outlaw drinking. They are the logical extension of the Temperance Movement nowadays, but it was founded from noble roots.

Their demographic are mothers and the politicians that pander to them in order to help them get votes.

They primarily influence the government overtly by lobbying Congress and state governments. They covertly do it by media attacks and campaign contributions to those that will knuckle under to them.

Obviously, they lobby the Justice Department and the Executive Branch, but also the Department of Commerce and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Good luck. It used to be a private organization I had real sympathy for. But year after year they show their true colors.

Try to type in: http://www.mothersagainstdrunkdrivers.com..........And see if they have a site. If so just come right out and ask them everything you asked us. Or look in the Yahoo Yellow pages for a site or a phone number fax, or something on them. To help answer some of your questions. Good Luck....I do know their an organization that came together and founded a decade or two ago, because they somehow lost a loved one over drunk drivers, a child perhaps. Is basically all I do know about them. I hope you find what your needing to know.

It is not a government project. It is a private non-profit organized by mothers whose kids were killed by drunk drivers.

It is easy to find info on them. See the link below. They are always doing mailings to make people aware of the drunk-driving problem.
