Bush however did follow through on one of his, and that was to give us a tax break, that was nice until our government, repubs. and demos, alike allowed gas companies to send gas prices through the roof. Gas companies have made RECORD PROFITS since Katrina, and they are still using Katrina as an excuse to continue to charge us out the rear for gas. But as long as our politicians keep the gas companies in their back pockets, you can rest assured that gas prices will continue to go through the roof.
