My brother was killed by an illegal alien drunk driver who was released on bail and has since disappeared back into the system -- probably with a new name and new stolen social security number. My nephews are now fatherless and I am helping to raise them. That is how it has affected me.
And YES, the fact that he was illegal DID matter. IF he had NOT been here illegally, my brother would still be alive.
My daughter's school is over crowded and underfunded due to the illegal alien children who need special services. A hospital closed it's emergency room due to the overrun of illegal aliens who used it as free health care. The local mall is dangerous. Drug and gang activity through MS-13 has become a real issue. Machete attacks are common.
OH, and last year my identity was hi-jacked by an illegal alien. They accessed both my social security number AND one of my bank accounts. That's since been straightened out, however it was a huge pain in the ___ (you fill in the blank.)

Uh so i assume the quantity of taxes I pay shouldn't rely. unlawful extraterrestrial beings value the taxpayers billions each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Hospitals have closed because of the fact of them. i'm confident the folk in those communities are very tormented by making use of that. because of the fact which you think of the tax argument is crap i'm assuming which you do no longer pay any. Get a job and finished up each and every of the taxes you pay and it equals close to to 50%. Federal, State, nearby, Social protection, Medicare. i assume you think of that the money the the illegals are sucking up could no longer be used for extra useful applications on unquestionably human beings. One final ingredient. I have not have been given any challenge with somebody coming to this united states of america legally, getting to grasp ENGLISH, and with the flexibility to assist themselves. I even have study many articles from legal immigrants that waited years yet to return right here and that they are pissed approximately those ppl purely strolling in.

No it has not. I think that some of your answers will be from people who don't understand that we have illegal immigrants as well as legal immigrants. For example a company that employees legal immigrants is required to withhold all taxes from them and in the end, since they generally go back, the US retains all that tax revenue. In the case of general contractors who employee illegal immigrants, they generally pay one person who distributes the money to his crew and thus the taxpayers get nothing. I have personally turned in 3 contractors and 2 lawn care companies who were using illegal immigrants in their business.
The biggest effective of illegal immigrants is in our school system. Their children, if born in the US are citizens and even if they are born outside the US, they are admitted to school and this strains the system in many ways. Frankly I do not think the school system should be responsible for education of illegal immigrants children.

Your anecdote would make anyone upset.. But look at this perspective... Two days ago I told a Court Clerk (in defending a Caucasian for DUI or DWI) that it was improper that Court for that matter was re-scheduled for Dec. 27... almost X-mas day...She replied that if I were the victim of a drunk driver I'd think differently.. Well, I told her I lost a brother to a DWI driver.. Actually it was my cousin but my brother b/c we were always together.. The drunk driver was White (30 y/o) - my cousin Hispanic (Puerto Rican - a citizen of course but Hispanic nonetheless).. My family wanted me to press for a criminal prosecution for the drunk driver - I told them NO, that the prosecutor had reason not to prosecute.. and now I defend a Caucasian and even fight with the Court (thereby endangering my reputation) in order to defend the DWI victim.
I'm confident you realize my views about white Americans - some have had it bad and are truly victims but most are misguided by money - and as such I dislike most white American folks (actually, I probably dislike most people in general - but for different reasons).
But when "push come to shove" - I stand up for people's rights - I am driven by the person who stands before me - not the race that (s)he can identify with.
Example: I support Hillary, not Obama.. Although the people who have hurt me MOST, on a personal level, have been Caucasian women... (it was non-physical but I was emotionally raped by these women - who happen to be powerful female and White).
Also, the White male I am representing in DUI - I gave him a 70% discount (I've ten years of experience as a lawyer and I am Ivy league).
Trust me, I've made a few choice comments about illegals (much, much, worse than those that you have made). But I have done so privately and, most importantly, I have abused no one "just because" they are illegal.. In fact, I have given those "..." aliens over $150,000.00 in free legal services...And yes sometimes I am upset at having done so.. But that doesn't undermine the nobility of my acts...
As such my acts are not guided by my emotions...
There is room for you too to harbor animosity b/c of your loss but exercise WISE restraint and civility...
Now... I must kill time so that on Saturday I can go see "I am Legend"... that movie looks awesome...

1. My legal immigrant in-laws are very busy demanding the deportation of illegals that they come across.
2. My taxes are higher.
3. My daughters work for lower wages than they otherwise would.
4. I had the opportunity to beat the crap out of one when he tried to steal my wife's purse...then I had him deported.
Tech...so, you are a racist and only think that they do that meaningless labor, and that only they can do it? The fact is that they keep those wages down for Americans who would do that work, but cannot afford to because the pay is so low. If the illegals went home, the employers would have to pay more. If you are using illegal labor for those things, you are also a criminal.
David...naive thinking at best. If the illegals went home, the wages of those jobs would increase...AS WOULD ALL OTHER JOBS TO KEEP EMPLOYEES. And as with Tech...if you are employing them, you are a criminal.
Carina...illegal is illegal and therefore criminal. I am sure that there are murderers that are otherwise good people. This is not to compare the two crimes, but allowing an illegal alien to stay is like rewarding the crime.

I was just watching the movie "Waitress", and the writer/producer/director/actress Andrienne Shelly was murdered after finishing that beautiful movie by an illegal immigrant. Our neighborhood is filled with them and their loud stereos and rude behavior. They act like they own this country, and make constant demands of us. I really think we should only allow people into this country that really want to be here and are willing to show us some respect.

I had to leave the construction business, or start my own company that hires illegals, which I was not willing to do, and move on to another type of work.
That helped create the myth that there were construction jobs that I could not or would not do.
Americans should not expect hard working people to build things for them for one third what the jobs are worth, but because of the existence of an illegal work force, that is exactly what they expect.
It has created a cultural environment in which people look down on craftsmen and laborers as if they were criminals or unemployed bums.

Try getting a fair deal as a tradesman in the construction trade. The illegals are undercutting the power of our unions and taking money out of the pockets of our tradesman.

Nicole,
When is our hemorrhaging of the US borders going to stop? When all of the Americans move out of the Southern states to "flee" the onset of these interlopers?
Bush and all else who soft-petal this issue need to be forced into the forefront and see FIRST HAND the damage that this lack of border management has cost us ALL.
Enough of the Liberal Agenda's arguments!
My heart and tears go out to you, Nicole, and other posters who have directly and indirectly felt the impact of this onslaught of these illegal marauders! I did not know of the murder of Adrienne of "Waitress" until this very moment. And let's not forget the MS-13 gangs building their empires on our soil! The Mexican Government - corrupt as a government can be - PROMOTES it's citizens (they aren't American citizens...) to keep close and tight with Mexico and to not forget their LOYALTIES. So we have MEXICO fighting us in a silent war of sorts.
Just where can Naturalized, Native-born, and Native Americans go???? Are we facing one-on-one combat soon on our streets and in our own homes?

I feel like I am in Mexico when I go out in public.
I need to speak Spanish to them to make myself understood.
They throw trash excessively in the streets around property I own, destroy property, commit act of hitting and running during car accidents, have changed the quality of education in local schools to be about learning English instead of general education needs. Banko's several local hospitals, brought a new level of icr cream vendor push carts that cause insipid noise and additional trash in some of our neighborhoods they frequent.
I could go on but you get the idea. I'm sorry for your loss with your friend.
I hear that more Americans are killed by illegals each day than die in the Iraq war daily.
Seems like a serious problem to me. We need these people our of here NOW!
