We'll me being prior enlisted and Cadet in ROTC going for pilot, I'm interested in your opinion. What do you see for our future? All though it is nice to have an un-manned aircraft shooting missles and spraying bullets at hot zones, I still think its something that would never obsolete a fighter pilot. This is why I think so, even though the predator has been very good at its job so far, it still is being controled by a signal. Take out the tower sending signals. Goodbye predator. Now I'm not 100% on its A.I. It could be smart enough to target the enemy on its own and fight it off. Still things happen, ever see the move "stealth" heh. Anyway this is all in good fun, what is your opinions for our future Air power?

The number of fat or indeed obese people is now endemic! I cannot understand how people can let themselves get to such a state. I cannot understand how these people cannot be ashamed to eat in public considering their size. I think that those people who are obese should not be allowed treatment under the NHS just as many have suggested of smokers. Lets' face it, the majority of the underclass is overweight/obese and it is that section of society which is breaking the NHS.

Should I go into the Air Force and go to the Air Force college, then become an officer, or should I get my Bachelors as a civilian first, then go into the Air Force?

Which option would be easier to become an officer?

When our country was founded, it was done so on the principal that we are "By the people and for the people." However, I don't think that our government is anywhere near for and by the people. IMO there is a group of politically elite people who are in control, and we as citizens have much less influence than they would like us to believe. I would like to know what other people think about that, and also, what needs to be done in order to get the American people more directly involved and in control?

I've heard the arguement that if the rich are allowed to keep more money by being taxed less, that they will have more to spend towards jobs and growth.
If the 'death' tax was lifted, wouldn't the rich be less apt to reinvest in society and simply keep passing the money on to their own generations? How does that help the middle class other than to increase THEIR tax burdon?

Is Oprah being honest with the largely female fans she encourages to be strong and fearless, and yet she supports Obama and campaigns for him. Not because he's the best person for the job because he just does not qualify there. Because he can make a change? That's a standard promise. Why then is she being such a hypocrite?

"global warming heartland", and political organizations like the CATO, Heritage, and CATO created junkscience.com?

I posted a website from NASA stating that the majority of climatoligists support man made global warming, but they still won't believe it.

They'll say that actually most scientists don't believe it, but then provide no evidence of that.

Can conservatives name even three SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS against man made global warming?

Do they ever actually go to jail? For how long? Or do they get a fine? Or does the judge just warn them and let them off??

My husband's ex wife who has been dragging him to court for 14 years practically bankrupting him (she's mega rich, he's not) FINALLY got a fine of $7500 that she is now ordered to pay to my husband in attorney's fees. But she's a violent angry woman who doesn't follow the rules and we're sure she's not going to pay in the 30 days that she's given, (even though she's a multi millionaire) so his atty is already making plans to file something saying she's in contempt of court in 30 days. (She cheats on her taxes, claims she only makes $60K/yr when she really makes $300+K. The IRS is investigating her. She also has a recent drug conviction for stealing controlled narcotics from her patients and she's on probation for that. If she's arrested for any reason, that will be a violation of her probation and she will lose her license to practice medicine.
