if bail is set.. they do not care who pays it.

You can pay bail by bond (bondsman) or cash/check.

If this is your first DWI, you may get let loose on O/R

usually if you get a bail and you have enough money on you to bond yourself out a bondsman will come get you out but when going to jail for drunk driving they usually keep you for a couple hours before letting you bond out

a friend of mine told me years ago when he got a DUI they actually took him to the ATM to get money out for his own bail...lol...it was a small town so i guess they were being nice..
