I don't know how many history "buffs" and/or research "buffs" there are participating in this forum, to answer this question but, it would seem like, to me, that if these 2 people ever lived in harmony then whatever it was that got them at each others throats, could be a root cause issue, which could be possibly eliminated by the peace process.

I crave peace! I wish they did.

To execute a murderer who says all the time(8 years) sorry for the things he has done is not right?
Because the murderer can turn into a good person and if you execute them you would kill a potential good person and that is wrong because the murderer killed a good person(Victim)

Mike Huckabee was slammed for stating that Mormons believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers...but if you read the Mormon's own Doctrine it states that "Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers and we were born as siblings in heaven to them both, Mormon Doctrine, pg. 163" Do you think he should have had to apologize?

"CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida's deputy leader denounced last month's Mideast peace conference in Annapolis, Md., as a "betrayal" of Palestinians in a new audio message posted Friday on an Islamic militant Web site."

While I don't live in the Middle East, so I don't know what is being said, this is one of my biggest complaints about this admininstration: its inability/refusal to label al-Qaeda for what it is. A terrorist organization that does not have the interest of the Islamic people in mind.

I've heard the expression, "Don't get in a pissing match with a skunk", but someone from our government should be front and center on Al_Jazeera DAILY, pointing out that:
1. The United States is doing everything possible to make Iraq a peaceful nation.
2. We did not pick the Iraqi leaders; the Iraqis did.
3. In the midst of a difficult situation, the United States is trying to bring peace to Israelis AND Palestineans. Al-Qaeda is trying to bring death to the region.

Okay I wasn't actually robbed but he stol from me something that worth 500 bucks. And I was so mad because I can't believe someone made me like a fool. I really hate to loose. I'm controlling freak.

So I spend over 2000 bucks to hire a private detective. And I got him. Now he begging me to dropped the charges.

It is surprising that He is only 17. But I don't want a dropped charge because he is young. I know he never gonna change. I want to take a legal action and make his life miserable. I know I'm pathetic but I love the feeling to break someone's life.

Well we don't need to get into details here. But most of
us know, and the rest of the world understand how much
we need a Democratic president. The 90's were a
landmark era for the US. Some said, it was as good, if
not better than the 50's. According to Alan Greenspan.....
But what ever happened to the Bush dynasty. I cannot
find 1 news network, not even FOX NEWS, that can
actually say something good about him. Not one. No
way near what it was in 2004, nope, not this time.
Funny how things change so quickly. NPR radio is a
great source of information, with issues on real life
situations, and real people. No soundbites, or Conservative
rhetoric. So, it is looking good for the Democrats, and
they will win the White House. What I wanna know is what
happened to the Bush dynasty, and why they don't care
about having a great legacy, left behind ?

I’ve been doing some studying on Bill Clinton’s time in office as President. It appears that Bill is very popular for the way he handled the budget deficit for the United States. However, I’ve read a couple of articles that states that Bill Clinton was not the reason for our debt decrease, but the GOP/Congress was. In fact, supposedly, Bill Clinton opposed the budget at first, but when the budget actually worked out in our nation’s favor, he took the credit. Can anyone offer me any insight on this? Please educate me. Thanks.

I have a non-compete employment agreement with my current company for which I have worked for the past 4 years. The agreement only covers the city and surrounding area, of the office that I work in. Recently the company has decided to sell the office to another individual that will be changing the company name and become the sole owner of the business. My question is: Is my employment agreement / non-compete transferable to the new company?

The house was bought quickly as an investment.
We did not check the property properly before purchase as it is a large manor house which we intend to do up. We do not know what to do with this 'tenant' which we did not want. He tells us he signed a deed with the previous owner and he moved in 6 months before we exchanged contracts. Can we get rid of him? Can we sue the previous owner for his failure to tell us?Thanks.

Yahoo China gives the government info (names addresses) on anonymus posters in China and helps the goverment of China to arrest pro democracy supporters. Chinese journalist Shi Tao was given 10 years in Jail for merely 'sending foreign-based websites the text of an internal Communist Party message. Reporters Without Borders said the message warned journalists of the dangers of social unrest resulting from the return of dissidents on the 15th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, in June 2004.'[bbc]

This made me really angry and I'm about to cancel my yahoo account and have nothing more to do with them. What do other people think?

It is easy to bash the other guys, but look in your "own house".
If you are a lib/dem, what has the Democratic party NOT done that they promised, or what have they done they you feel they should not have done.
Same thing for cons/reps.
Also, is there someone in your party that you feel is hurting your party's chances in the election next November.

I am a 6th and 7th grade teacher, most of my students come from poverty stricken homes. I have heard many of my students say they are going to have a "rich Christmas" this year because they have a brother or sister who signed up with the Army and they get to help spend a $10,000.00 bonus that they got.
This really concerns me. It's almost like they are selling out their own families for money. The army has been recruiting heavily in our area. Is this exploiting the poor?
