He is paid to do his job and he apparently is doing it quite
effectively to get national attention, don't you think?

We had a Sheriff in Florida that gave prisoners their basics and he came under fire too. No one wanted to add taxes for more room in the jail so he set up a "tent city".

Yes I do. Too bad the ACLU would rather defend criminals and illegals than something like our citizen's 2nd amendment rights.

Yes..... but groups like the ACLU do not want people in prison to have to do anything. It would "cruel" if we didn't make a convicted felon's life easy.

some locals don't like his attitude and are determined to 'bring him down'
they might like what he is doing just not the way he does it
