Have any of you checked out Mike Gravel? he is awsome!!!! If you havent checked him out you should he is all about the people has some wonderfull ideas about the war and the war on drugs our national deficite, and medical reform, everything sounds great and nobody knows who he is, its a real shame check him out here. www.gravel2008.us

it's true no one knows who he is...but then again all they had to do was watch the first democratic debate.....he probably won't win, the next best chance is Kucinich...but if you like Gravel's work vote on the NI

I am very aware of Senator Mike Gravel, however Gravels plans on many issues though may sound very good have no shot of passing in Congress. At this point in time we will not be getting tax payer funded universal healthcare, besides his healthcare plan would only come to light if he were able to pass the elimination of the income tax opting instead for a national sales tax. While we can debate the pro's and cons of the Fair Tax plan, I don't believe at this time that there would be any shot of the plan passing congress.
To sum it all up, Gravel doesn't have the strength and leadership to get his far reaching plans to pass in congress. If he were to become Presidency he would likely be very ineffective.
