I work for a tree cutting company and my boss just asked me to find out the prevailing wage for Highland park NJ. HELP!! Lol what is a prevailing wage?

Prevailing just means current. Most data available are slightly dated. At NJ's Labor Market Information website, you can obtain wage information as current as Quarter 1 2007 (Jan - March) by county. I looked up Highland Park; seems it is in Middlesex County. Ran the numbers for you. Here is the link by Major Industry Group (the wages are in the last columns).
