I'm a lifelong Patriots fan and I'm conservative. Does that make me an oxymoron?

I know of several liberals that hate the Patriots. Fans of every other NFL team hate the Patroits, because they are currently undefeated. It has nothing to do with politics.
BTW. This conservative in a Red Sox fan.

Its human nature to hate someone that consistently dominates and is clearly the best at something. People are like crabs in a bucket. Always trying to drag down those about to get out. Look at how many people claim to "hate" the US, but would sell their left testicle to come here.

What bung-hole did you pull THAT out of? I read that article and nowhere did it say that "conservatives" hate the Patriots. It stated that almost EVERYONE hates the Patriots, and then went on to give six good reasons.
Now, if EVERYONE was conservative, your question would have some validity and the country would be a lot better off ...

why is it that many feel the need to cry that no one loves/respects them? By creating a nemesis or a thing/person to blame they get news buzz and sympathy from those who believe that disliking or even indifference is a sin ..
