Earlier today I posted a question and got some very helpful answers about the differences between Enlisted men and Officers. It seems as though enlisting in the military first so that I can get the lay of land a little bit, learn the mechanics of the armed forces, and also be able to relate to those who do the majority of the grunt work would better prepare me to then become a better officer. However I don't know if I can enlist as a private and proceed on towards NCO after I have graduated from college, and then become an officer. I would appreciate any knowledge on this.

My reason for asking is that I would prefer to finish my four-year degree before joining the miltary so that thngs are a little less complicated.

I would appreciate any knowledge on this subject.

When democrats were in the minority and blocking all the republican agenda, the press said that the republicans were not working with or compromising with democrats and that the republicans were trying to ram through a radical agenda.

Now that the democrats are in power, there is no mention of the democrats working with or compromising with the Republican minority or the democrat agenda being to radical.

No wonder the Congress has an approval rating lower than the average temperature in the North Pole.

MIAMI -- The judge in the trial of the so-called "Liberty City Seven" has declared a mistrial for six of the seven defendants.

Lyglenson Lemorin was the only defendant the jury could reach a verdict on, finding him not guilty on all four terror conspiracy counts.

The resolution came Thursday in the ninth day of deliberations.

The government knew darn well that these 7 defendants were not involved in any 'terror plot'. Blacks from this country have/want nothing to do with terrorists plots. The whole case was bogus.These men wouldn't know where to begin in a 'terror conspiracy.'

I guess its anything to keep the ball rolling. Such a friggen waste.

I had recently had repair on a hernia surgury that got a staff infection with the mesh. I had an open wound and was on a lot of antibiotics and pain killers. I went out with my brother to go to a club to get out. I dont remember anything after leaving the club but aparently I kicked my brother out of the car then passed up my home address by 15 miles got pulled over for dwi and possession of marajuana. I did not blow. I went to jail and in my shoe they say they found a roach of marajuana. They gave me a felony charge for a controlled substance in a correctional facility that has a minimum of 2years. I remeber none of this! Is there any way to beat this? temporarily insanity? because I dont remeber? My attorney I dont think is a good one. I have never used him and had to pay him 6000 up front. What are my options if any? any advice from professional? I have 85000 in the bank. I do not want to go to jail for 2 years! HELP PLZ>

If a 17yr old was detained and questioned by police officers without an attempt to contact his parents.He signed a release to give police access to his telephone records,will their findings or his statement (not a confession) hold up in court? He was charged as a adult with the crime. Our state is Alabama.
