Call the ACLU. Bush has promised to cut federal funds to any school who doesn't allow them to brainwash on the school campus. Good for you!!

You have freedom of speech do you not? Guess what, so do the recruiters. And thankfully you live in the United States which means you have choices unlike living in communist Russia under Stalin. This means you have the FREEDOM to ignore them just as you have the freedom to live your own life and follow whatever path you want to choose. Read up on your history or would you rather live in a country where you could be sent to a work camp for speaking your mind?

Don't talk to them.

Colleges send recruiters to schools, why should the Federal Government be excluded?

Why do you want to take an opportunity to speak to a recruiter away from one of your classmates who may want to join or just get more information about the military.

I have a feeling you have an Anti Military / Anti war agenda.

No. Why would you want too? The question you should ask, "Why does it bother you so much?" That's where I'd start. Are you afraid of them? You don't like what they stand for? What is your opinion of the first amendment, the second amendment.... You are entitled to your opinions and to voice those opinions because someone in uniform defends those freedoms. You can't run everybody else's lives. There are students in your school that want to talk to those recruiters. Please respect their rights, too!

Sorry, not at the moment. See the link below for a Supreme Court case that decided this issue. It applies to any school that receives federal $ (public or private, which means just about every school out there). If your school doesn't let them on campus, then the feds will pull their money.

Just because you can't hack a day in the life of a soldier....

I'm sure the recruiters recognize you as a dirt bag and wouldn't waste their time trying to recruit you anyways...

You should say THANK YOU to them for letting you have the chance to write the BS.

Be a man about it. Tell them how you feel about their job. Don't be a wuss and ask us, tell them how you feel. Time to start being recognized as a young man and not a kid who asks Mommy and Ask Yahoo.com because you do not want to say anything to anyones face. You'll encounter many problems like this in life, sometimes you have to ask the person, WHY?

Sorry dude, unless its a private school none. Your just going to have to deal with them and tell them that you aren't interested.

I always enjoyed them coming to my high school when I was still there. I miss it now, but then again I'm in the military.

You might as well get used to it. Cause I was never prouder of my school when the recruiters came.... it was awesome.

Now as far as them leaving you alone? just tell them your gay or you don't believe in civil liberties.

FYI we don't brainwash, we still free think.... believe me we do.

Why? How are they any different from college recruiters? They both are offering people a chance to further themselves after highschool. Like one answerer suggested already, if you don't like them being there, stay away from them. It's as simple as that.

As long as they are there and getting people to join, your butt wont be drafted.
I would consider it a positive thing and you have a right to just walk the other way. You are going to find that there are a lot of things that annoy you that you can do very little to change.

Oh, dear Lord! You mean the recruiters are doing their jobs and recruiting people? How dare they?

The only way to keep recruiters out of your school is to go to private school. Good luck to ya. And tell the recruiters, "good job." for me. I wouldn't want their job.
