MIAMI -- The judge in the trial of the so-called "Liberty City Seven" has declared a mistrial for six of the seven defendants.

Lyglenson Lemorin was the only defendant the jury could reach a verdict on, finding him not guilty on all four terror conspiracy counts.

The resolution came Thursday in the ninth day of deliberations.
------------------------------------
The government knew darn well that these 7 defendants were not involved in any 'terror plot'. Blacks from this country have/want nothing to do with terrorists plots. The whole case was bogus. These men wouldn't know where to begin in a 'terror conspiracy.'

I guess its anything to keep the ball rolling. Such a friggen waste.
Proect our borders government! stop wasting time on bs !!

Shady. All borderline retarded. I heard something about them being tricked into this by some govt agency in order to bolster attention to the terror threat without actually having one. Like a drill without saying its a drill.

The prosecutors feel free to squander public funds. In this case they are doing it for the publicity. Prosecutors have long proven they don't care about guilt or innocence, but convictions.

A Florida prisoner who was innocent paid to have a DNA test that proved his innocence. Because he had been tested before the legislature passed a law allowing DNA testing, the Miami prosecutor stood before the judge, in open court, with the cameras rolling and said "His guilt or innocence is not the issue here".

Guilt must be proven beyond reasonable doubt. If the evidence is weak, the suspects must be set free. It is better to set free a thousand guilty suspects than imprisoning one innocent person.
