My girlfriend and I have the same boss but we work at different companies of his. The other day my girlfriend got a call from the boss asking her if I have a drug problem. I experimented a little when I was younger but thats it. He says he found a razor blade after I left work with cocaine residue on it. Now my boss is a known drug user. He told everyone I work with that I use drugs and steal from him. One of my co-workers even came up to me and said watch out he heard the boss was trying to get me. Now my co-workers look at me funny and I know they are talking behind my back. Is this slander? And what should I do, I was thinking about calling a lawyer.

Hi all.
I have a boyfriend who is stationed ~ 1025 miles away. I am like going crazy since he also is my bestfriend. I send and receive letters and pictures. I text message him during the week hoping that he will call me on Sundays.
I tried to keep myself busy with college, job, and tutoring. But it seems that those options can't keep me busy enough.
When he doesn't call me on Sunday, I'd go crazy. Like, " Why he didn't call me? I'm done and over it." Sometimes, I feel like letting him go, maybe this is our separate ways, it's hard to be on such long distance relationship. But sometimes, I also think it is selfish of me to even say or think that way since he always be there for me.
Also, he will be deployed in March/ April for 15 months. My head feels like it's about to burst. I don't know as to what to do and how to deal with all these dramas.
I am not interested into joining support groups because I feel that it will be more frustating because I have to think, talk about him

I've just seen The Peace Maker by George Cloney, it was terrifying to see a man was able to carry a nuclear bomb in his pack bag walking in busy streets of new york.

My question is it possible to carry a nuclear bomb in a pack bag? I see some images of a small plotunium core having a capacity of more than a kilotons of nuclear explosion.

If it is possible the it will be very scary, as you have known we have so many nuclear crisis now. Iranian nuclear enrichment program, the crisis of pakistan if let un check the terrorist may able to control some of thier nuclear facilities and never ending chesnya crisis.

It is very scary ended it will happen in the future the catasthropic nuclear explosion in a populated cities. That will be the end of us

Its sounds stupid, but I'm having a recurring dreams about joyriding in a car for like 2 blocks. Then 50 years later I'm in court for it they are talking about statutes of 70 years...and all I need to do is prove them wrong. They keep asking me, "well what is it then?" and I can never think of the answer. So I tried looking it up to no avail

This guy absolutely disgusts me. Would it be appropriate to call authorities and tip them off? Would the girl need to testify? Should I mind my own business or should I make sure something happens to this pedophile?

A hotel I know of is having a huge problem. The floorboards are all rotten from a water leak that was not fixed. We don't know if there is additional water down there. Then another pipe leaks into it now, the sewage. Fumes are all through the lobby, and come up the grates around the outside of the lobby. The workers are concerned, and one is pregnant. The owners only responce to this is to try and sell the hotel, they dont' want to spend the money to fix it. I want to inform someone to come and test the hotel. At this point no one knows how harmful the sewage fumes are or if they have or can become toxic. I can seem to find nothing on where to report this, and am just getting lost on government webpages. Any recommendations?

The Century Series USAF fighters that became operational were the F-100 Super Saber, the F-101 Voodoo, the F-102 Delta Dagger, the F-104 Starfighter, the F-105 Thunderchief and the F-106 Delta Dart. You can add the F-110 Phantom II if you wish, but it is better known as the F-4. Also the F-111 Aardvark. Several of the Century Series never made it to production and some never flew.

Which of these do you think was the best fighter, noting that some were built as tactical fighters and some as interceptors? Consider performance, mission accomplishment and general service in choosing the best.

Because for me, I think it is better for us to have such. For we know already what we experienced for the past administrations and presidents who sat in the government. I think it is about time for us to think of it. Anyway, we still have the democracy within us and it is rightful for us to choose it or ignore it.

You all see those advertisements and posters put up near construction zones and public walls and all that...
Well I saw this awesome poster in a sidewalk tunnel and am really tempted to take it.
Yes I know it's no easy feat taking the posters off, but assuming I can, is it legal?

I always thought it would be legal... but my friend suggests otherwise.

Thanks.

Give illegal imigrants a chance to become citizens? or would you close the doors on them and try to get rid of as many imigrants as you can? We all see things differently, but many people dont understand what an illegal has to do to survive here in the us they risk there lives 4 a better future..Thank god that i was born her but i see so many illegals suffering in many ways..Theres so much hate in this world.. theres millions of people that dont want illegals here and are trying to get rid of them..so they close the door and make things much difficult for them to live..when everybody is just trying to survive until judgment comes..What is you honest opinion about them?does the us really dont need them? What would you do if you had d power to change this problem? (think back when color people were discriminated and they wnted to have the same right as d whites..they suffered ALOT cuz they know it wasnt right i think its kinda d same 4 illegals they just want better futures)

I went on holiday, first time in years and was pulled over by police, I was booked for driving unlicensed, my license had expired by five days, gasp! I simply forgot!

I never recived a reminder notice, I live in NSW, Australia
I have been driving for 25 yrs and not even a parking ticket,

I asked for some leniency regarding the $400 fine, RTA said no! It was my responsibility to renew it.

should I go to court to try to get the fine lessened? Has anyone else had this experience?

I do not have the money for the fine, the police said I would just get cautioned but that was not the case. who can I contact to get the correct information please,? no solicitors, not willing to pay

My dad was a Navy Seal in the Vietnam War. I am 23 and since I have grown up he has talked to me more about his experiences there. He lost a lot of close friends there, and fought for his and others' lives on a daily basis. When he came home to the states a lady spit on his face and called him a "baby killer" I know attitudes have changed in the present day and people are more careful to criticize politicians' decisions instead of the soldiers fighting, but I still think that it is hard for my dad to feel proud sometimes because of the whole negative atmosphere surrounding the Vietnam War. I want to get him something maybe that he could put in his office at work or keep at home that shows him how proud I am of him and how proud America is of him and others like him during that period of time. Any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.
