Italian Work Permit Renewal?

I got one offer in One of the Best Company in Italy. But they are very difficult to process my Work pemit. But I had been worked in Italy for One and half Years. I have old Work Permit.
1. Can i able to Renew the Work permit?.
2. If yes, Then What is the procedure?
3. How long it will take to Renew the Work Pemit?

File for a renewal of your work permit at the Italian Embassy and the period might be just the same with the first application.
