A hotel I know of is having a huge problem. The floorboards are all rotten from a water leak that was not fixed. We don't know if there is additional water down there. Then another pipe leaks into it now, the sewage. Fumes are all through the lobby, and come up the grates around the outside of the lobby. The workers are concerned, and one is pregnant. The owners only responce to this is to try and sell the hotel, they dont' want to spend the money to fix it. I want to inform someone to come and test the hotel. At this point no one knows how harmful the sewage fumes are or if they have or can become toxic. I can seem to find nothing on where to report this, and am just getting lost on government webpages. Any recommendations?

Call the county health department in the county where the hotel is located.

The links to the Department of Ecology and the Department of Health are given at the reference. Just call the general number for help. As previously stated, the local health department should be your first call.
