You're cruising down the block(on duty of course), looking for law breakers, and then, you notice a scared looking child, wandering around the sidewalk, and the child is about 5 , no parents or adults near by, what would you do?And the kids doesn't know English too.

And lets say you decide to ask the kid where his parents are at, and what if the kid doesn't respond to you, and start to cry?
What would you do?

If you're not a chrisitan please don't answer. Yes some republicans believe in abortion, gay marriage etc. The majority of democrats support abortion, gay marriage and other terrible things. People say that democrats want to help the poor, but republicans help them too. I believe the fundamental view point of democrats is to give a man a fish. Republicans want to teach the man to fish. Besides that both parties believe they are helping all people poor or rich with whatever economic plan they have. To say one economic plan is better than another is all perspective. If you are a christian abortion, gay marriage and christian religious freedom are not a grey area it is black and white. If any liberal left winged christians don't understand what I'm talking about feel free to email me.

I purchased a car 21 days ago. The dealership drug their feet on getting the car funded from the lender. The car was wrecked and may be totaled. So I have a possibly totaled car on my hands that the bank hasent funded the financing for. So NOW I get a call from the dealership saying they are missing a piece of information they need to get the loan funded. (this only after I found out that the car was never registered in my name, and had trouble getting it towed. I had to call the dealership) I told them what happened and they are basically wanting me to lie about the car to the finance company to get the car funded. They never came out and said it, but they are jumping around the subject. I don't know what to do. The car isn't in my name. My insurance company is paying for it which is fine because I wrecked it. I just don't want to lie, and now I have to jump hoops because the dealer drug their feet. What should I do and what is the law. Should I just keep the finance co. out of it?

Deep River (WTNH) _ Several Spanish speaking employees have filed a discrimination lawsuit against their company after an 'English Only' policy was implemented.

A year ago, Andres Moran had a good life and a good job at G&C Industries in Deep River.

"I worked there for three months and it was fine. It was a good working environment. Then after those three months they posted a policy in the lunchroom that said we couldn't speak Spanish," Moran explained.

According to the policy, workers could only speak English during their work hours. Moran and his co-workers, legal immigrants from Honduras and Mexico, were shocked. "The whole Spanish people that worked there, we went and started talking to the managers, and why did they do that? For what reasons? We felt like we were being discriminated. We weren't doing anything bad," Moran said.

According to Moran, the G&C Industries said because they were a private company they could do whatever they want. Moran and four others decided to file a discrimination lawsuit against the company.

"So we're claiming in this case, this English only policy discriminated against my clients on the grounds of national origin," said the employee's attorney, Steve Jobs.

Moran also says the company told the workers that safety was behind the new 'English Only' policy. When he did not comply, Moran says he was laid off.

Moran and the four other employees are seeking $100,000 each, plus attorney fees and damages. http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp?S=7410493
“So we’re claiming in this case, this English only policy discriminated against my clients on the grounds of national origin,” said the employee’s attorney, Steve Jobs.

When they come to this country their allegiance is supposed to be for this country which is an English speaking one.
National origin???? What the....(censors myself)
Go back to your country of origin where you will be free to speak the national language. Would like to see if in their country of origin they would be able to speak English or would be required to speak the national origin’s native language.
I am sick of this and the good thing is they will garner little or no sympathy.

Even I think OJ Simpson was at least responsible for the deaths of Ron Goldman and Nichole Simpson. However as a US citizen he has the right to the presumption of innocence. Could you judge him fairly, or would you make him pay for what you may think he did earlier? Before you answer these are the same rights that are afforded each of us. Don't answer if he is guilty or not on this charge yet .... you have not heard all of the evidence.

How much more in US tax payer bribe-aid will Bush offer them to get along?

Other than Bush 1, has any other president had the stones to publicly tell both nations that he will cut the bribe-aid if they did not behave?

The left thinks it's courageous and patriotic to attack the President, but that's not only easy, it's deeply ingrained on both sides of the political spectrum. Don't forget the '90's when the right voiced its many disagreements with President Clinton. What distinguishes the left and right, however, is that the right is not afraid to call evil what it is, and currently it is in the form of radical Islam and its Jihad. George Clooney and Michael Moore have a right to criticize President Bush and that's ok-- it's their prerogative. But in the spirit of balance how about the possibility of Mr. Moore waddling up to the leaders of CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) and asking why they won't consistently denounce Islamic violence. Is that asking too much?

Ok so I am running for the position of judge in this young ameritowne thing in sixth grade. We have to be elected by the people in our grade, and even though I have made it through the primary elections, I don't think I will get the postition and the election and speeches are tomorrow. I was thinking something like this:

Judgemental sounds like it would be a good thing for a judge to be, right? Well it's not. The definition of judgemental is this: judges with own morals and own personal opinions. As your judge, I would not be judgemental. I would give everybody a fair chance and not use my own personal opinions or make assumptions. I have a lot of experience with being a judge, and many others, too. I have been in the postition where somebody has done something to me and I have tried to make it right, I have been in the position where somebody has accused me of something, whether it was true or not, and I have been in the position where I have helped people figure out a problem

My boyfriend was arrested for grand larceny. when they brought him in to the questioning room, (interrogation), they read him his rights, and he said, "i want my lawyer (Public Defender) the investigator guy, said, "if you ask for you lawyer you are just making this harder, and i will send you upstate if you ask again"

What could happen because his lawyer was denied to him? We are in New York State. (Cattaraugus County)
