Perhaps a little perspective is in order, Israel declares independence and created the state of Israel. U.SA, the United Kingdom and the rest of the member countries of the United Nation recognized and respected it. Just like when we declared our independence from Britain who do not want to recognized it went to war with us.

The creation of Israel was a decision by the Israelis. That the United States, Great Britain and the Soviet Union all chose to recognize this does not make Israel their creation, nor does the decision by the United Nations to accept the Israeli declaration of statehood make Israel a creation of the United Nations. Israel was created by the Israelis through their toil and sacrifice, and maintained by struggle.

A people who have been made unwelcome everywhere, persecuted and murdered by Christian and Arab alike, returned to their ancestral homeland (where some had remained all along) and declared their determination to control their own destiny. They created themselves.

what people tend to forget is that there were jewish people that lived in what is now called Israel for 1000's of years before ww2. as a matter of fact the area of land was called Israel before it was A territory run by the britsh called Palestine. So when all these jack asses say that this land is historically belongs to the palestinians.. think again. Read the pre ww2 history of this area of land and youll get a much better picture of what happend than what any will say because of narrowmindedness and political reasoning.
