The no fly zones, were just 2 lines drawn in the map, they didn't protect Kurdish in north, or Shea's in south. Both were pounded by Saddam's Helicopters, for siding with US during Desert Storm.

Well, the gas to get around it, plus the pollution incurred... my calculator only gives me a number as expressed in units of dead puppies, so about 7.
