and that the Bush administration had favored more attempts at diplomacy?

Quite true. And all the people who take every word he says as religious doctrine will spread this like like a wildfire. The cronies that have tagged along with Bush have shown a remarkable disinterest in the truth and do everything they can to rewrite history. But hey, if they say repeat something over and over again that makes it true right? I wonder if he is doing this to change public opinion or just sell books. Maybe both? My god he is such a tool.

It's those darned liberal flip-floppers all over again!!

First they tricked poor president Bush by making speech after speech about Saddamn's nonexistant WMD's, then they tricked him again by passing the resolution he asked for authorizing the use of force in Iraq, and now they're trying to make the whole war seem like it was his fault, and lose it for him in the process, just to make him look bad!!!

----Is that how it is, Karl?

Does this mean that even Rove has come to see the invasion of Iraq as a horrible blunder, that he would be trying to place the blame on the democrats rather than credit on the republicans?

I heard him say in an interview that the congress wanted to vote on the Iraq war resolution before the election in 2002, but the White House wanted to delay the vote, so anything is possible. Maybe he means the Republican majority that was then in control of Congress.
